Nocardiopsis alkaliphila is an alkaliphilic bacterium from the genus Nocardiopsis which has been isolated from soil from Egypt. [1] [3] [4] [5] Nocardiopsis alkaliphila produces nocardiopyrone A, nocardiopyrone B and pyridinols. [6]
