Nocardiopsis is a bacterial genus from the family Nocardiopsaceae which can produces some antimicrobial compounds, ^{[1] [3] [4]} including thiopeptides. ^[5] Nocardiopsis occur mostly in saline and alkaline soils. ^[6]
