The Natranaerobiales are an order of bacteria placed within the class Clostridia. This order contains the thermophilic bacterial species Natranaerobius thermophilus and the related species Natranaerobaculum magadiense. [4]
Acidobacteriota is a phylum of Gram-negative bacteria. Its members are physiologically diverse and ubiquitous, especially in soils, but are under-represented in culture.
The Thermomicrobia is a group of thermophilic green non-sulfur bacteria. Based on species Thermomicrobium roseum and Sphaerobacter thermophilus, this bacteria class has the following description:
Thermus is a genus of thermophilic bacteria. It is one of several bacteria belonging to the Deinococcota phylum. Thermus species can be distinguished from other genera in the family Thermaceae as well as all other bacteria by the presence of eight conserved signature indels (CSIs) found in proteins such as adenylate kinase and replicative DNA helicase as well as 14 conserved signature proteins (CSPs) that are exclusively shared by members of this genus.
Halomonadaceae is a family of halophilic Pseudomonadota.
The Chloroflexota are a phylum of bacteria containing isolates with a diversity of phenotypes, including members that are aerobic thermophiles, which use oxygen and grow well in high temperatures; anoxygenic phototrophs, which use light for photosynthesis ; and anaerobic halorespirers, which uses halogenated organics as electron acceptors.
Cohaesibacter is a genus of bacteria from the order of Hyphomicrobiales.
Thermoanaerobacter is a genus in the phylum Bacillota (Bacteria). Members of this genus are thermophilic and anaerobic, several of them were previously described as Clostridium species and members of the now obsolete genera Acetogenium and Thermobacteroides
Deferribacter is a genus in the phylum Deferribacterota (Bacteria).
Agrococcus is a genus in the phylum Actinomycetota (Bacteria).
Algoriphagus is a genus in the phylum Bacteroidota (Bacteria).
Algibacter is a genus in the phylum Bacteroidota (Bacteria).
Cucumibacter is a genus in the phylum Pseudomonadota (Bacteria).
Croceicoccus is a genus in the phylum Pseudomonadota (Bacteria).
Dehalococcoidia is a class of Chloroflexota, a phylum of Bacteria. It is also known as the DHC group.
Desulfosporosinus is a genus of strictly anaerobic, sulfate-reducing bacteria, often found in soil.
The Natranaerobiaceae are a family of bacteria placed within the class Clostridia. This family contains the thermophilic bacterial species Natranaerobius thermophilus and the related species Natranaerobaculum magadiense.
Mameliella is a genus in the phylum Pseudomonadota (Bacteria). The name Mameliella derives from: New Latin feminine gender dim. noun Mameliella, arbitrary name derived from the acronym MMEL, marine microbial ecology laboratory.
Natranaerobaculum is a Gram-positive, obligately alkaliphilic, anaerobic, thermotolerant, halotolerant and spore-forming genus of bacteria from the family of Natranaerobiaceae with one known species. Natranaerobaculum magadiense has been isolated from sediments from the Lake Magadi in Kenya.
Natranaerobius thermophilus is a thermophilic, obligately anaerobic and halophilic bacterium from the genus of Natranaerobius which has been isolated from the Wadi An Natrun lake in Egypt.
Natronovirga is a halophilic, thermophilic alkaliphilic, and anaerobic genus of bacteria from the family of Natranaerobiaceae with one known species. Natronovirga wadinatrunensis has been isolated from sediments from the Lake Hamra in Egypt.
