Vulcanimicrobiota is a monotypic phylum of incertae sedis bacteria. It has one valid class Vulcanimicrobiia.^[1]^[2] Vulcanimicrobiota is one of the two valid bacterial phyla that does not belong to any kingdom, the other being Fidelibacterota.^[2]
