Vulcanimicrobiota is a monotypic phylum of incertae sedis bacteria. It has one valid class Vulcanimicrobiia. [1] [2] Vulcanimicrobiota is one of the two valid bacterial phyla that does not belong to any kingdom, the other being Fidelibacterota. [2]
