North Davidson High School (commonly referred to as "NDHS," or simply "North") is a public high school in Welcome, North Carolina (near Lexington). It was established in 1952 and is located along Old US Highway 52 in northern Davidson County. The high school serves the Welcome, Arcadia and Midway areas.

The school's mascot is the Black Knight, although female athletic teams often use the term "Lady Knights".

NDHS is a member of the Mid Piedmont 3-A Conference. Their biggest rivals are Central Davidson, and Lexington Senior High in Lexington, North Carolina, and Ledford High in Thomasville, North Carolina.

The school's athletics logo is an interlocking "ND" in orange, black, and white colors. It is copied from the University of Notre Dame athletics logo. Other NDHS logos feature black knights riding upon a horse in armor.

Midway is situated approximately 275 metres (902 ft) above sea level. Midway is part of the Piedmont Triad region and is neighbored by the communities of Arcadia (west), Welcome (south), Wallburg (northeast) and Winston-Salem (north). Every autumn, the town hosts the Midway Christmas Parade in celebration of the coming Christmas season.

Plantation High School is a high school located in Plantation, Florida, part of the Broward County Public Schools district. As of 2023, the school serves 1,834 students in grades 9 through 12. It was originally located on the Fort Lauderdale Airport grounds, specifically on the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale base. This was used as a temporary location until the new building was ready to open at its present location. Students at Plantation High are called "Colonels". The original school logo was a graphic of a traditional Southern colonel—the equivalent of Colonel Reb, mascot of the University of Mississippi. Davidson County Schools is a School district in Davidson County, North Carolina. The administrative education board is headquartered just off of U.S. Highway 64 on County School Road just outside the city limits of Lexington, North Carolina. The school system comprises six high schools, six middle schools, one consolidated middle/high school, eighteen elementary schools, one extended day school, one ungraded special school, and a STEM based career academy. He was a national champion and Clemson football standout in the early 1980s. His career continued into the NFL and Canadian Football League (CFL). Now, he is known for his inspirational speaking, sports marketing, and sports ministry.

Robert Raymond "Trey" Hutchens III is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 14 Chevrolet Silverado for his family team, Trey Hutchens Racing. He has also competed in what is now the ARCA Menards Series East part-time since 2013, with most of his starts coming with his own team as well. Hutchens also drove in the former NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour for two years.

Shyheim Devonte Tuttle is an American professional football nose tackle for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tennessee.
