Lapis lazuli, or lapis for short, is a deep-blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense color. As early as the 7th millennium BC, lapis lazuli was mined in the Sar-i Sang mines, in Shortugai, and in other mines in Badakhshan province in modern northeast Afghanistan. Lapis lazuli artifacts, dated to 7570 BC, have been found at Bhirrana, which is the oldest site of Indus Valley civilisation. Lapis was highly valued by the Indus Valley Civilisation. Lapis beads have been found at Neolithic burials in Mehrgarh, the Caucasus, and as far away as Mauritania. It was used in the funeral mask of Tutankhamun.
Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator was Queen of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt from 51 to 30 BC, and its last active ruler. A member of the Ptolemaic dynasty, she was a descendant of its founder Ptolemy I Soter, a Macedonian Greek general and companion of Alexander the Great. After the death of Cleopatra, Egypt became a province of the Roman Empire, marking the end of the last Hellenistic-period state in the Mediterranean and of the age that had lasted since the reign of Alexander. Her first language was Koine Greek and she is the only known Ptolemaic ruler to learn the Egyptian language.

The British Columbia Libertarian Party is a libertarian party in British Columbia, Canada that nominated its first candidates in the 1986 provincial election. There has never been a Libertarian elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. The most recent election occurred under the leadership of Don Wilson where, in the 2020 British Columbia general election, the party fielded 25 candidates and received 8,360 votes, or 0.4% of the popular vote. Keith Macintyre had the best performance of any BC Libertarian candidate that year, in his electoral district of Penticton where he received 717 votes, or 2.6% of the popular vote. In 2021 they were viewed as a fringe party.
Jining is a prefecture-level city in southwestern Shandong province. It borders Heze to the southwest, Zaozhuang to the southeast, Tai'an to the northeast, and the provinces of Henan and Jiangsu to the northwest and south respectively. Jining, which is located directly to the north of Lake Nanyang, is today the northernmost city reachable by navigation on the Grand Canal of China making it an important inland port.
Bijoux Falls Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. The park is located north of the city of Prince George on BC Highway 97 on the southern approach to the summit of the Pine Pass through the Rocky Mountains. The park was established in 1956 primarily to serve as a rest stop and to provide information about the park system in BC to travellers. The park is named for Bijoux Falls, a 40 m high cascading waterfall that is the central feature of the park.
Darke Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada located west of Okanagan Lake, southwest of the town of Peachland in that province's Okanagan region. The park is approximately 1,470 hectares in size and was established in 1968 as a provincial park Darke Lake, also mapped historically as Fish Lake, is northwest of Summerland and is named after Silas Robert Darke, an early settler in the 1890s. In 1941 Howard Clark bought Fish Lake from Clyde Stewart. He was a hunting and fishing guide that ran the camp, as well as raised four children with his wife Hazel. The children were Betty, Roger, Dale & Audrey. In 1959 he sold it to Jake and Betty Enns.
Seton Portage Historic Provincial Park is a historic provincial park located in the community of Seton Portage, British Columbia, Canada. It was established on March 29, 1972 to commemorate the location of the first railway in the province of British Columbia.
Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park is a provincial park covering parts of the eastern Kitimat Ranges, northern Pacific Ranges, and the Rainbow Range in British Columbia, Canada. It was established on May 21, 1938 in the western interior of the province, to protect its important natural features. The park hosts a variety of recreation activities for visitors. This park encompasses a range of diverse species in this park including bears, moose, and various fish. There are also a few at risk species in this park.

The family contains about 90 genera and 900 species found across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The name refers to the club-like widening of the end of the abdomen. However, this club is usually less pronounced in females and is entirely absent in some species.

On January 28, 2020, British Columbia became the second province to confirm a case of COVID-19 in Canada. The first case of infection involved a patient who had recently returned from Wuhan, Hubei, China. The first case of community transmission in Canada was confirmed in British Columbia on March 5, 2020.
