Oleksii PetrovYch Bilyi was a Head of the Mariupol Iron & Steel Works (until 2006). He is a member of the Ukrainian parliament (since November 2007), and a member of the Economic Policy Committee (since December 2007).
Oleksii Bilyi was born on 1 May 1961 in the village of Kamyanka, Apostolove Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. [1] Family: wife Irina (b. 1971) a teacher at Donetsk National University; two sons, Oleksandr (b. 1998) and Arseniy (b. 2003), daughter Amelia (b.2003).
Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute (1988), with a major in "Chemical technology of fuel," Donetsk National University (2001), majoring in Business Economics. From 1979 - 1981 he served in the Soviet Army. [1]
In November 2007, Oleksii was elected to the Verkhovna Rada with the Party of Regions, No.33 in the list. [2]
In the 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election, he was re-elected into parliament; this time being placed 5th on the electoral list of the Opposition Bloc. [3] [4]
The Liberal Party of Ukraine is a modern Ukrainian political party. It was founded on September 12, 1991 in Donetsk. The official date of registration is 10.10.1991, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine certificate number is 132.
Elections in Ukraine are held to choose the president, Verkhovna Rada (legislature), and local governments. Referendums may be held on special occasions. Ukraine has a multi-party system, with numerous parties in which often not a single party has a chance of gaining power alone, and parties must work with each other to form coalition governments.
Tariel Shakrovych Vasadze is a Ukrainian businessman of Georgian descent, chairman and main shareholder of the UkrAVTO JSC and UkrAVTO Group. He was the chief executive of UkrAVTO since 1983, leading this once state-owned company through privatization and restructuring to a role of Ukraine's main automobile manufacturer, servicer and importer. Later Vasadze's business was diversified by entering the insurance market. His wealth was estimated in 2007 at being around US$ 780 million. Oksana Volodymyrivna Bilozir, née Rozumkevych, is a People's Artist of Ukraine (1994), former People's Deputy of Ukraine and in 2005 Minister of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine.
Andriy Volodymyrovych Parubiy is a Ukrainian politician who served as the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, from 14 April 2016 to 29 August 2019. He previously served as Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, appointed after leading the anti-government protests in the 2014 Ukrainian revolution, until his resignation on August 7, 2014.

Yuriy Anatoliyovych Boyko is a Ukrainian politician who served as one of the Vice Prime Ministers of Ukraine between 2012 and 2014, as well as the Minister of Energy from 2006 to 2007 and again from 2010 to 2012. Other than during stint as Vice Prime Minister, he has continuously served as a Member of the Verkhovna Rada since 2007. Boyko ran for President in the March 2019 election, winning many districts in the southeast of the country but ultimately coming fourth and narrowly missing qualification for the second round.

Ihor Petrovych Palytsia is a Ukrainian businessman and politician. From May 2014 until May 2015 he worked as Governor of Odesa Oblast. In November 2015 Palytsia was elected chairman of the Volyn Oblast regional parliament. In the July 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election Palytsia won a seat as an independent candidate. In parliament he joined the For the Future faction.
On 25 October 2015 local elections took place in Ukraine. The elections were conducted a little over a year since the 2014 snap local elections, which were only held throughout parts of the country. A second round of voting for the election of mayors in cities with more than 90,000 residents where no candidate gained more than 50% of the votes were held on 15 November 2015.
The Opposition Bloc was a pro-Russian political party in Ukraine that was founded in 2014 by the merger of six parties that did not endorse Euromaidan. Legally, the party was created by renaming the lesser-known party "Leading Force". The party was perceived as the successor of the disbanded Party of Regions.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 8th convocation was a convocation of the legislative branch of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's unicameral parliament. The 8th convocation met at the Verkhovna Rada building in Kyiv, having begun its term on 27 November 2014 following the last session of the 7th Verkhovna Rada. Its five-year term came to an end on July 24, 2019, marking the end of its tenth session.
Snap elections to the Ukrainian parliament were held on 21 July 2019. Originally scheduled to be held at the end of October, these elections were brought forward after newly inaugurated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dissolved parliament on 21 May 2019, during his inauguration. The election resulted in an outright majority, a novelty in Ukraine, for President Zelenskyy's Servant of the People party with 254 seats.
