Omaha station is an Amtrak intercity train station in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is served daily by the California Zephyr . The station was built by Amtrak in 1983 as a replacement for the directly adjacent Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad Station that was opened in 1898, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1974. The structure utilizes the Type 50C specification of Amtrak's standard design.
Omaha station is not directly served by local public transit provider Metro Transit. The closest bus stop is located 4 blocks away at the intersection of South 13th Street and Pacific Street. This stop is served by Route 13, however, the service span does not include the times when the California Zephyr is scheduled to arrive and depart. [2]

Auburn station is an Amtrak station in Auburn, California. Located at the corner of Nevada Street and Fulweiler Street, it serves as the northern terminus of the Capitol Corridor line. The station is not staffed. The platform is next to a short spur track off Track 2 of Union Pacific Railroad's route over Donner Pass. Because of the geography of the city, the Union Pacific's mainline tracks are split, with Track 1 running through the eastern side of the city and Track 2 crossing the western side of the city. The California Zephyr bypasses the city on its route between Roseville and Colfax primarily via Track 1. Auburn became a stop on Amtrak's Capitol Corridor in January 1998.
Martinez station is an Amtrak passenger train station in Martinez, California, United States. Located at the west end of downtown Martinez, the station has one side platform and one island platform, which serve three of the four tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad Martinez Subdivision. It is served by the daily California Zephyr and Coast Starlight long-distance trains, five daily round trips of the San Joaquin corridor service, and fifteen daily round trips of the Capitol Corridor service. The other station, named La Grange – Stone Avenue, is .4 miles (0.64 km) away. La Grange is 13.7 miles (22.0 km) from Chicago's Union Station, at 25 West Burlington Avenue between Ashland Avenue and La Grange Road. Parking is available along West Hillgrove and West Burlington Avenues.
Naperville is a train station in Naperville, Illinois, served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Amtrak trains stopping at the Naperville station include the California Zephyr, Illinois Zephyr, Carl Sandburg and Southwest Chief. It is also one of two stations in Naperville that serves Metra's BNSF commuter line, and an abundance of Pace bus routes. Naperville station was originally built in 1910 by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. On April 26, 1946, the station was the site of a collision between the CB&Q's Exposition Flyer and Advance Flyer. On April 26, 2014, a memorial entitled Tragedy to Triumph was dedicated at the train station. The sculpture by Paul Kuhn is dedicated not only to the crash victims but also to the rescuers at the site.
Galesburg is an Amtrak intercity train station in Galesburg, Illinois, United States. The station was originally built in 1984, after the razing of the large depot just south of the current site. It is located north of the large BNSF Classification yard. Just south the Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg diverge via the Quincy main line which bypasses the yard on the east side. The California Zephyr and the Southwest Chief continue to the southwest side of Galesburg near Knox College.
Quincy station is an Amtrak intercity train station in Quincy, Illinois, United States. The station is one of the namesake stations of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, but today serves as the western terminus of Amtrak's Illinois Zephyr and Carl Sandburg trains. It was built in 1985 and was modeled after a former streetcar station of the early 20th Century. Previously, the Illinois Zephyr crossed the Mississippi River and terminated at the former CB&Q station in West Quincy, Missouri after stopping in Quincy; indeed, the Quincy station was built due to West Quincy being frequently cut off by flooding. The decision to build a station on the Illinois side proved to be prescient when the Great Flood of 1993 destroyed the West Quincy station.
Burlington station is an Amtrak train station in Burlington, Iowa, United States. It is served by the California Zephyr, with one daily train in each direction. The station was built by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad (CB&Q) in 1944, replacing the previous union station used by the CB&Q and the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad. That station burned in January 1943.

The new station is 2,750 square feet (255 m2), with an 800-foot (240 m) platform, and cost $1.3 million.
The California Zephyr is a long-distance passenger train operated by Amtrak between Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area, via Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Reno. At 2,438 miles (3,924 km), it is Amtrak's longest daily route, and second-longest overall after the Texas Eagle's triweekly continuation from San Antonio to Los Angeles, with travel time between the termini taking approximately 511⁄2 hours. Amtrak claims the route as one of its most scenic, with views of the upper Colorado River valley in the Rocky Mountains, and the Sierra Nevada. The modern train is the second iteration of a train named California Zephyr; the original train was privately operated and ran on a different route through Nevada and California.
