Oncopeltus aulicus is a species of seed bug in the family Lygaeidae, found in Florida and the Caribbean. [1]
Lycodon aulicus, commonly known as the Indian wolf snake or common wolf snake, is a species of nonvenomous snake found in South Asia and Southeast Asia. Early naturalists have suggested its resemblance to the venomous common krait as an instance of Batesian mimicry.
The Lygaeidae are a family in the Hemiptera, with more than 110 genera in four subfamilies. The family is commonly referred to as seed bugs, and less commonly, milkweed bugs, or ground bugs. However, while many of the species feed on seeds, some feed on sap (mucivory) or seed pods, others are omnivores and a few, such as the wekiu bug, are carnivores that feed exclusively on insects. Insects in this family are distributed across the world. The family was vastly larger, but numerous former subfamilies have been removed and given independent family status, including the Artheneidae, Blissidae, Cryptorhamphidae, Cymidae, Geocoridae, Heterogastridae, Ninidae, Oxycarenidae and Rhyparochromidae, which together constituted well over half of the former family.
Francis Cheynell (1608–1665) was a prominent English religious controversialist, of Presbyterian views, and President of St John's College, Oxford 1648 to 1650, imposed by the Parliamentary regime.
Oncopeltus fasciatus, known as the large milkweed bug, is a medium-sized hemipteran of the family Lygaeidae. It is distributed throughout North America, from Central America through Mexico and the Caribbean to southern areas in Canada. Costa Rica represents this insect's southern limit. It inhabits disturbed areas, roadsides, and open pastures. Due to this widespread geographic distribution, this insect exhibits varying life history trade-offs depending on the population location, including differences in wing length and other traits based on location.
Conus aulicus, common name the princely cone, is a species of a predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails, cone shells or cones.
Mercurius Aulicus was one of the "most important early newspapers" in England, famous during the English Civil War for its role in Royalist propaganda.
Zographus aulicus is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Bertoloni in 1849. It has a wide distribution in Africa.
Aulicus is a genus of checkered beetles in the family Cleridae. There are about 14 described species in Aulicus.
Aulicus femoralis is a species of checkered beetle in the family Cleridae. It is found in North America.
Oncopeltus sanguinolentus, the blood-colored milkweed bug, is a species of seed bug in the family Lygaeidae. It is found in Central America and North America. The species name is sometimes misspelled with an extra "e", as sanguineolentus.
Oncopeltus is a genus of seed bugs in the family Lygaeidae, which has at least 40 described species.
Cryptocephalus aulicus is a species of case-bearing leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae. It is found in North America.
Oncopeltus sexmaculatus, the six-spotted milkweed bug, is a species of seed bug in the family Lygaeidae. It is found on islands in the Caribbean Sea, Central America, and North America.

Oncopeltus guttaloides is a species of seed bug in the family Lygaeidae. It is found in the southern Central America and the southern United States. Like other species of Oncopeltus, their nymphs are gregarious and can be found in large clusters on host plants.
Oncopeltus zonatus is a species of seed bug in the family Lygaeidae, found in the Neotropics in Guiana, Peru, and Chile. Oncopeltus zonatus is a terrestrial species. Its known host plants are Asclepias curassavica, Funastrum clausum, and Nerium oleander.
