The Orange Line is an East-West line of the Kaohsiung Metro in Kaohsiung,Taiwan. It opened on 14 September 2008,the day of Mid-Autumn Festival,for a week-long free trial service. After the free trial service,the Kaohsiung Metro offered a month-long single one-way promotional NT$15 service on both the Red and the Orange line,with regular ticket price applies after this.
The 14.4 kilometres (8.9 mi) line has 14 stations and is the second metro line to open in southern Taiwan. [1] Shortly prior to opening,flaws such as emergency exit lighted signs,unclear ticket displays,and jammed emergency exits were fixed. [2] Although it was originally supposed to open with the Red Line,it was delayed due to tunnel collapse during construction December 2005. [3]

The Metropolitan Rapid Transit or MRT is a mass rapid transit system serving the Bangkok Metropolitan Region in Thailand. The MRT system comprises two fully operational rapid transit lines and one fully operational monorail line (Yellow). One monorail line (Pink) is in trial operation,with another rapid transit line (Orange) under construction. The MRT Blue Line,officially the Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line,between Hua Lamphong and Bang Sue was the first to open in 2004 as Bangkok's second metro system. The MRT Blue line is officially known in Thai as rotfaifa mahanakhon (รถไฟฟ้ามหานคร) or "metropolitan electric train",but it is more commonly called rotfai taidin (รถไฟใต้ดิน),literally,"underground train" as it was distinguished from the BTS Skytrain by being completely underground when its first section between Hua Lamphong to Bang Sue opened.

The EasyCard is a contactless smartcard system operated by the EasyCard Corporation,which was previously named the "Taipei Smart Card Corporation",for payment on the Taipei Metro,buses,and other public transport services in Taipei since June 2002,and its usage has since expanded to multiple kinds of businesses. Its use has also since been expanded to include convenience stores,department stores,supermarkets,taxis,and other retailers since 1 April 2010. The Circular light rail is a light rail loop line in Kaohsiung,Taiwan,operated by the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation. The line stretches over a length of 22.1 kilometers and has 38 stations. The southern part of this line makes use of the defunct tracks of the Kaohsiung Harbor Railway Line. Construction cost was forecasted to be 16.5 billion New Taiwan dollars.
