Owzun Qeshlaq (Persian : اوزون قشلاق‎, also Romanized as Owzūn Qeshlāq and Ūzūn Qeshlāq)^[1] is a village in Akhtachi-ye Mahali Rural District, Simmineh District, Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 323, in 61 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Akhtachi-ye Mahali Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Simmineh District, Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,516, in 2,016 families. The rural district has 30 villages.

Simmineh District is a district (bakhsh) in Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,401, in 4,788 families. The District has one city: Simmineh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Akhtachi-ye Mahali Rural District, Akhtachi-ye Sharqi Rural District, and Behi Dehbokri Rural District.
