Urta Kand (Persian : اورتاكند‎, also Romanized as Ūrtā Kand; also known as Ūrteh Kand)^[1] is a village in Behi Dehbokri Rural District, Simmineh District, Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 79, in 24 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Behi Dehbokri Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Simmineh District, Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,357, in 845 families. The rural district has 20 villages.

Simmineh District is a district (bakhsh) in Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25,401, in 4,788 families. The District has one city: Simmineh. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Akhtachi-ye Mahali Rural District, Akhtachi-ye Sharqi Rural District, and Behi Dehbokri Rural District.
