Qaluy Sheykhan (Persian : قالوي شيخان‎, also Romanized as Qālūy Sheykhān; also known as Qālū Sheykhān)^[1] is a village in Il Gavark Rural District, in the Central District of Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 128, in 26 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Il Gavark Rural District or Gawerk is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,798, in 919 families. The rural district has 22 villages that is homeland of Gawerk tribe.
