Ozumchi (Persian : ازومچي‎, also Romanized as Ozūmchī; also known as Owzūmchī and Ūzūmchī)^[1] is a village in Abbas-e Sharqi Rural District, Tekmeh Dash District, Bostanabad County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 149, in 40 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Abbas-e Sharqi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Tekmeh Dash District, Bostanabad County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,056, in 7700 families. The rural district has 25 villages.

Tikmeh Dash District is a district (bakhsh) in Bostanabad County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,051, in 5,914 families. The District has one city: Tekmeh Dash. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Abbas-e Gharbi Rural District, Abbas-e Sharqi Rural District, Sahandabad Rural District, and Ujan-e Sharqi Rural District.
