Quruqchi Rud (Persian : قوروقچي رود‎, also Romanized as Qūrūqchī Rūd; also known as Chāy Qūrūqchī, Qūrqochī Rūd, and Qūrūqchī Rūdī)^[1] is a village in Ujan-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Bostanabad County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 376, in 82 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Ujan-e Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Bostanabad County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,458, in 1,940 families. The rural district has 25 villages.
