P. K. Abdu Rabb is an Indian politician and a former member of Kerala Legislative Assembly from the Indian Union Muslim League who served as Kerala's minister for education during the second Oommen Chandy ministry. He represented the Tirurangadi constituency of Malappuram district in Kerala.
P.K. Abdu Rabb is the son of the former deputy chief minister of Kerala,K. Avukader Kutty Naha. He gained a master's degree in English Literature. [1]
He experimented with "green boards" in Malappuram,asserting that such boards are the international norm. [2]

Cheriyan Kandi Muhammad Koya popularly known as C. H. Muhammad Koya was an Indian politician who served as the 8th Chief Minister of Kerala from October to December 1979. He is more often noted for being the Minister of Education of Kerala from 1967 to 1973 and again from 1977 to 1979. After his Chief Ministership,Koya went on to become the 2nd Deputy Chief Minister of Kerala from 1981 until his death in 1983. K. Avukader Kutty Naha (1920–1988) was an Indian politician and social worker who served as the Minister of Local Administration in various Kerala Governments from 1968 to 1979. As an Indian Union Muslim League minister in the 1967–1969 Namboodiripad ministry,Naha oversaw the creation of the Malappuram District in central Kerala (1969). Naha,with minister M. N. Govindan Nair and official C. K. Kochukoshy,also devised the 'One Lakh Houses' scheme in Kerala.

South Malabar covers the regions included in present-day Kozhikode taluk of Kozhikode district,Wayanad district excluding Mananthavady taluk,the whole area of Malappuram district,Chavakkad taluk of Thrissur district,and Palakkad district,excluding parts of Chittur taluk. The Fort Kochi region of Kochi city also historically belongs to South Malabar. The term South Malabar refers to the region of the erstwhile Malabar District south to the river Korapuzha,and bears a high cultural similarity to both the Cochin and the North Malabar regions.
