The 1964 Arab League summit in Alexandria was held on 11 September 1964 in Montaza Palace, Alexandria as the second Arab League Summit. The focus of the conference was to implement the plans discussed at the first Arab League summit held in January of that year. The summit was notable for being a key step in the buildup to the Six-Day War in 1967 and separately for "approving the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization."

The 2012 Arab Cup was the ninth edition of the Arab Cup for national football teams affiliated with the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA).

The Arab Mashreq International Railway is a proposed railway network in the Mashriq, which is located in Western Asia and eastern North Africa in the eastern part of the Arab world. The planned network has north–south and east–west axes, and 16 different routes covering 19500 route-km. The plan is ambitious; 60% of the routes have not yet been built, and parts of existing railway infrastructure are weak or have gauge differences; some states may be unable to make large investments in infrastructure. Like the European Trans-European Transport Network, the Agreement specifies a family of high-priority international routes, rather than setting service details or awarding contracts to operators.

The Palestine national under-20 football team is the national under-20 football team of Palestine and is controlled by the Palestinian Football Association. The team also serves as the national under-19 football team of Palestine.

The 2016 conference on Sunni Islam in Grozny was convened to define the term "Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah", i.e. who are "the people of Sunnah and majority Muslim community", and oppose Takfiri groups. The conference was held in the Chechen Republic capital of Grozny from 25 to 27 August 2016, sponsored by the president of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and attended by approximately 200 Muslim scholars from 30 countries, especially from Russia, Egypt, Syria, Libya, Kuwait, Sudan, Jordan, etc. at the invitation of Yemeni Sufi preacher, Ali al-Jifri.

The nine national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

The 2021 FIFA Arab Cup is an international football tournament held in Qatar from 30 November to 18 December 2021. The 16 national teams involved in the tournament are required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers, selected from an initial provisional list of 35 players. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament.

The 2022 Arab Cup U-20 is an international youth football tournament held in Saudi Arabia from 20 July to 6 August 2022. The 18 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 2002 are eligible to participate.
