Vietnamese National Football Super Cup, also called the Thaco National Football Super Cup due to sponsorship reasons, is Vietnamese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous V.League 1 season and the holders of the Vietnamese Cup. If the V.League 1 champions also won the Vietnamese Cup, then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture was first played in the 1998–99 season.
The V.League 1, also called LPBank V.League 1 for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional football league in Vietnam, controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF). It is contested by 14 clubs who play each other on a home and away basis. The team finishing at the top at the end of the season is crowned the champion and enters the AFC Champions League Two.
Vương Tiến Dũng is a Vietnamese football coach. After retiring from his playing career, during which he played for Thể Công and the Vietnamese national side, Vương turned to coaching and coached a number of Vietnamese football clubs.
The 2010 V-League season was the 27th season of Vietnam's national football league and the 10th as a professional league.
The 2010 Vietnamese Cup was the 18th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. The contest began on 23 January 2010 and finished on 28 August 2010.
The 2011 Vietnamese Cup was the 19th edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It started on 8 January 2011 and finished on 27 August 2011.
