Pamela Abdy (born November 23, 1973) [2] is an American film producer and studio executive. Since 2022, she has been co-chair and co-CEO of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group. [3]
Abdy began her film career at Jersey Films which included a role as assistant to Danny DeVito. [4] Through Jersey Films her first film as co-producer was Garden State in 2004. Subsequent executive roles include working at Makeready, New Regency, Bluegrass Films and Paramount. [5] She was included in Variety 's 2023 "Variety500", its list of influential global media leaders. [5]

The DC Universe (DCU) is an upcoming American media franchise and shared universe based on characters from DC Comics publications. It was created by James Gunn and Peter Safran, co-chairmen and co-CEOs of DC Studios. The franchise is a reboot of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), a previous franchise featuring DC characters. The DCU retains a few DCEU cast members while replacing others. In contrast with the previous state of DC Comics adaptations, the DCU features a united continuity and story across live-action films and television, animation, and video games. Concurrent DC adaptations that do not fit within this continuity are labeled "DC Elseworlds".
