Parapelomys is an extinct genus of murid rodent that lived during the Neogene.

Palaeoecology

Parapelomys robertsi had much lower δ¹³C values than the contemporary Karnimata huxleyi, suggesting the former consumed grass much less often than the latter.^[1]
