Patkonan-e Bala (Persian : پتكنان بالا‎, also Romanized as Patkonān-e Bālā; also known as Napkonān, Patkonān, Patkonow-ye Bālā, and Patkonū-ye Bālā)^[1] is a village in Siyahu Rural District, Fin District, Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 83, in 25 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Siyahu Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central Division of Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 10156, in 2,215 families. The rural district has 54 villages.

Fin District is a district (bakhsh) in Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 23,514, in 5,709 families. The District has one city, Fin, and three rural districts (dehestan): Fin Rural District, Gohreh Rural District, and Siyahu Rural District.
