Perks Matriculation Higher Secondary School, India, is a part of Perks Institutions that is run by the Ramaswami Naidu and Ramaranganathan charities, Coimbatore. The school was founded by Mr. R. Rama Ranganathan in the year 1971. The school is situated in the heart of the Coimbatore City. Founder

Rama Ranganathan, the founder of Perks Institutions, a Lok Shree awardee, is credited with having brought the Davis Cup tournament to Coimbatore in 1975. He died on 10 November 2009 at the age of 83.

She is the first recipient of the UN Vienna Civil Society Award and a recipient of the 1992 Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award from the Government of India for her contributions to the society.
