Pershing is an unincorporated community in Denning Township, Franklin County, Illinois, United States. The community is located along County Route 6 2.5 miles (4.0 km) west-southwest of West Frankfort. [2]
Denning Township is one of twelve townships in Franklin County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 5,202 and it contained 2,371 housing units.
