Azizan bin Abdul Razak was a Malaysian politician who served as the 10th Menteri Besar of the state of Kedah from 2008 to 2013. A member of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),he was the first Chief Minister of Kedah from a party other than the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He held the seat of Sungai Limau in the Kedah state assembly from 2004 until his death in 2013. He was also the state commissioner for PAS in Kedah and a member of the central committee of the national party.
Dato' Seri Ir. Mohammad Nizar bin Jamaluddin is a Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as Member of the Perak State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) state administrations under Menteris Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu and Saarani Mohamad from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH state administration in March 2020 and again since November 2022 as well as Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sungai Rapat since May 2018. He served as the 10th Menteri Besar of Perak from March 2008 to the collapse of the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) state administration in February 2009,MLA for Changkat Jering from May 2013 to May 2018,for Pasir Panjang from March 2008 to May 2013 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bukit Gantang from April 2009 to May 2013. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the PH coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a former component party of the PR coalition. He is also presently the sole Perak AMANAH MLA.
Dr. Haji Abdul Ghani bin Ahmad JP is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Jerlun since November 2022. He served as Member of the Kedah State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) state administration under former Menteri Besar Azizan Abdul Razak from March 2010 to the collapse of the PR state administration in May 2013 as well as Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ayer Hitam from November 1999 to March 2004 and again from March 2008 to May 2018. He is a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and formerly PR coalitions.
The Alliance of Hope is a Malaysian political coalition consisting of centre-left political parties which was formed in 2015 to succeed the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. It has been part of a "Unity Government" since November 2022 together with other political coalitions and parties as a result of the 2022 Malaysian general election,and previously for 22 months after it had won the 2018 Malaysian general election until February 2020 when it lost power as a result of the 2020 Malaysian political crisis at the federal level. The coalition deposed the Barisan Nasional coalition government during the 2018 election,ending its 60-year-long reign since independence.

He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the PN coalition was a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR),a component party of the PH coalition.
Tan Kok Yew is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Kedah State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration under former Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH state administration in May 2020 and Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Derga from May 2013 to August 2023. He is a member and State Chairman of Kedah of the Democratic Action Party (DAP),a component party of the PH coalition. He was also the only DAP candidate to lose in the 2023 state elections.
Aminolhuda bin Hassan is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sri Gading since November 2022. He served as the Leader of the Opposition of Johor from April 2020 to March 2022 and Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Parit Yaani from May 2013 to March 2022. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),then component party of then Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalition. He has served as the State Chairman of AMANAH of Johor since September 2015. He also served as State Chairman of PH of Johor from February 2020 to September 2022. He served as Member of the Johor State Executive Council (EXCO) in the PH state administration under former Menteris Besar Osman Sapian and Sahruddin Jamal from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH state administration in February 2020.
