The Menteri Besar of Selangor, also referred to as the First Minister of Selangor is the head of government in the Malaysian state of Selangor. The Menteri Besar acts as a majority leader in the Selangor Assembly. According to convention, the Menteri Besar is the leader of the majority party or largest coalition party of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly.

It comprises the Menteri Besar, appointed by the Sultan on the basis that he is likely to command the confidence of the majority of members of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly, and a minimum of four up to a maximum of ten members of the State Assembly. Additionally, the State Secretary, State Legal Adviser and State Financial Officer, who are civil servants that serve as exofficio members.

He served as Member of the Pahang State Executive Council (EXCO) from March 2008 to May 2018. He is a member and State Chairman of Pahang of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has also served as the Vice President of UMNO since March 2023.
Muhammad Jailani bin Khamis is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Rembia since May 2018. He served as Member of the Melaka State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali from November 2021 to March 2023 for the third term, from March 2020 to November 2021 for the second term and under former Chief Minister Adly Zahari from May 2018 to the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration in March 2020 for the first term. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He was a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition before leaving PKR and becoming an independent supporting the BN coalition for nine months and later joining UMNO.
Ku Abdul Rahman bin Ku Ismail is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kubang Pasu since November 2022. He served as Member of the Kedah State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administration under Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor from May 2020 to August 2023 and in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Menteris Besar Mukhriz Mahathir and Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah from May 2013 to the collapse of the BN state administration in May 2018 as well as Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Guar Chempedak from March 2008 to August 2023. He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the PN coalition and was a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition.
Nolee Ashilin binti Mohammed Radzi is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Perak State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administrations under Menteris Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir, Ahmad Faizal Azumu and Saarani Mohamad from May 2013 to May 2018, March to December 2020 and again from December 2020 to November 2022 as well as Member of Perak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tualang Sekah from March 2008 to November 2022. She is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the PN coalition and was an independent as well as member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition. She has served as Member of the Supreme Council of BERSATU since January 2024. She is also the sister-in-law of Ahmad Faizal.

Izizam Ibrahim is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Perlis State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administration under Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli as well as Member of the Perlis State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Titi Tinggi since November 2022. He is the first Titi Tinggi MLA of Malay ethnicity. He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the PN and formerly Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. Wan Badariah Wan Saad is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as a Member of the Perlis State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administration under Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli as well as Member of the Perlis State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Mata Ayer since November 2022. She is a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of the PN coalition. She is also presently the only female Perlis EXCO Member.

Wan Zikri Afthar Ishak is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Perlis State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administration under Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli since November 2023 and Member of the Perlis State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Tambun Tulang since November 2022. He is a member and Youth Information Chief of Perlis of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the PN coalition. He is presently one of the three BERSATU Perlis EXCO Members along with Izizam Ibrahim and Megat Hashirat Hassan.
Mohamed Taulan bin Mat Rasul is a Malaysian politician. He has served as Member of the Kedah State Executive Council (EXCO) in Pakatan Rakyat (PR) administration under Menteri Besar Azizan Abdul Razak from 2008 to 2013 as well as Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly for Tokai from March 2004 to May 2018 and Bukit Raya from November 1999 to March 2004. He is a member of Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of Perikatan Nasional (PN), formerly Barisan Alternatif (BA), Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and Gagasan Sejahtera (GS) coalitions.
