The Little White House was the personal retreat of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States, located in the Historic District of Warm Springs, Georgia. He first came to Warm Springs in 1924 for polio treatment, and liked the area so much that, as Governor of New York, he had a home built on nearby Pine Mountain. The house was finished in 1932. Roosevelt kept the house after he became President, using it as a presidential retreat. He died there on April 12, 1945, three months into his fourth term.

The Andrew Weisel House is a two-story Greek Revival cottage constructed of red brick and river stone. It was built in 1853 by mason Andrew Weisel and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
Upper Saranac Lake is one of three connected lakes, part of the Saranac River, in the towns of Santa Clara and Harrietstown, near the village of Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks in northern New York. Upper Saranac Lake is the sixth largest lake in the Adirondacks. With Middle Saranac Lake and Lower Saranac Lake, a 17-mile (27 km) paddle with only one carry is possible. There are 20 primitive campsites accessible by boat available on a first-come basis. Upper Saranac Lake is also known as Sin-ha-lo-nen-ne-pus.

Chichester's Inn is located along Chichester Road in a wooded section of West Hills, New York, United States. It is a rare surviving example of a 17th-century inn on Long Island, mostly unchanged from its original form, although it is now used as a house. Walt Whitman, who grew up in the area, and Theodore Roosevelt were among its past patrons. In 1985 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Portage Point Inn Complex is a resort hotel located at the western end of Portage Lake at Portage Point, Michigan. In October 1985, this 1902 resort hotel and its associated buildings was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It operates today as the Portage Point Resort.
Terry-Ketcham Inn is a historic inn and tavern located at Center Moriches in Suffolk County, New York. It was built about 1693, expanded about 1710 and 1790, and is a two-story, nine by two bay frame structure with a rear wing and gable roof. The original structure was built as a two by three bay, single story timber frame cottage. In about 1710 a three by two bay timber frame half-house was built to the north of the original structure. A 1790 building program tripled the size of the structure.

The Fairfield Inn was an historic hotel building located on Fairfield Lake near US Highway 64 in Cashiers, Jackson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1896-1898, and consisted of a 2 1/2-story main block with two rear wings. The Queen Anne style frame building featured three massive singled gables, hipped dormers, a three-story corner turret, elliptical windows, and a one-story lakeside verandah. The hotel had 100 rooms.

Vine Forest, also known as Forest Oaks, Forest Tavern, and The Inn at Forest Oaks is a historic home located near Natural Bridge, Rockbridge County, Virginia. The original section was built in 1806 by Matthew Houston, the cousin of famous Texan, Sam Houston. The original house served as a store, tavern, and home for the Houston family, the primary dwelling on their sprawling plantation.
Railway Clerks' Mountain House, also known as the Mountain Home, Clerks' Mountain Home, and Orchard Inn, is a historic country inn located near Saluda, Polk County, North Carolina. The inn ("home") was built in 1926, and is a two-story, six bay, frame building with Colonial Revival and American Craftsman style design influences. It has a hipped roof and features a full width hip-roofed one-story porch supported by slender Tuscan order columns. Also on the property are three contributing guest cottages built about 1926: the "Paulownia" Cottage, "Boxwood" Cottage, and "Twin Poplar" Cottage. The property was originally developed by the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks of the Southern Railway System as a summer retreat. The union retained the property until 1962.
Pine Gables, also known as Logan House and Harris Inn, is a historic inn complex and national historic district located near Lake Lure, Rutherford County, North Carolina. The property encompasses 10 contributing buildings, 5 contributing sites, and 3 contributing structures. The original log sections of the inn dates to about 1800, and enlarged and modified in 1834, 1877, and 1924. It is a 2 1/2-story, frame building with high pitched gables in a vernacular Queen Anne style. Also on the property are the contributing Old Tearoom now used as a single family dwelling, a one-story stone structure, seven guest cabins, a craft shop, rock wall, three ponds, a segment of Old Highway 20, and the shoreline of Lake Lure. Judge George Washington Logan (1815-1889), who also owned the George W. Logan House at Rutherfordton, bought the inn in 1866 and it became known as the "Logan House". During the Great Depression, the inn and surrounding property was used to promote economic recovery as a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) headquarters.
The Sheldon Boright House, also known as the Grey Gables, is a historic house at 122 River Street in Richford, Vermont. Built in 1890 for a prominent local businessman, it is a fine example of a pattern-book design by Palliser, Palliser & Company, and may be the only instance of a house found on the cover of one of that company's pattern books. Now a bed and breakfast inn, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
Pine Inn, once called the Hotel Carmelo, is one of the early first-class Arts and Crafts, Tudor, Spanish style hotels established in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The Pine Inn is a historical resource dating back to 1889 when pioneer Santiago J. Duckworth built Hotel Carmelo. James Franklin Devendorf, renamed the hotel the "Pine Inn" in 1904. Today, it is a full-service hotel. The Pine Inn qualified for inclusion in the city's Downtown Historic District Property Survey, and was registered with the California Register of Historical Resources on March 18, 2003. The Inn is significant under the California Register criterion 1, as the first hotel in the history of the downtown district of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
