The Paul Bailey Pizzitola Memorial Sports Center, often referred to as "the Pitz" by students,^[1] is a 2,800-seat multi-purpose athletic center in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, which was built in 1989. It is home to the Brown University Bears men's and women's basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling and squash teams.^[2] It was built adjacent to Meehan Auditorium on Lloyd Avenue^[3] as a replacement for Marvel Gymnasium, which was located next to Brown Stadium on Elmgrove Ave.^[4] The building was named for Paul Bailey Pizzitola (class of 1981), whose father contributed $2 million to its construction. The lobby of the building is named for the Brown attendee (1887–89) and American football legend John Heisman (class of 1891).^[2]

McDonough Gymnasium, sometimes referred to as McDonough Arena when hosting a sports or entertainment event, is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Officially known as McDonough Memorial Gymnasium, it opened in 1951 and can hold 2,200 spectators for sports events.

Davis Gym is an indoor athletics facility on the campus of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. It is currently home to Bucknell Bison volleyball and wrestling. Marvel Gymnasium was a 3,000-seat multipurpose gymnasium in Providence, Rhode Island. It was home to the Brown University Bears basketball team as well as other teams. The gymnasium included a basketball court and seating, a second-floor running track, squash and handball courts, a wrestling room, a boxing room, and a fencing room.

The Bears, led by ninth-year head coach Mike Martin, played their home games at the Paul Bailey Pizzitola Memorial Sports Center in Providence, Rhode Island, and competed as members of the Ivy League.
