History

Pleasant Township was established in 1834, and named from its scenic landscapes.^[4]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 24.75 square miles (64.1 km²), of which 24.69 square miles (63.9 km²) (or 99.76%) is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 km²) (or 0.20%) is water.^[3]
