Prima Max is the fifth TV channel of Prima televize, which started broadcasting on Friday 20 November 2015, at 20:11. The channel obtained a license for a period of 12 years. The first broadcast film was the American film The Wolf of Wall Street. [1] [2] [3]

Program

The station's program is primarily aimed at viewers aged 25–45 and at parents with children, focusing mainly on foreign productions. There are also reruns of some of Prima's own shows from the main channel. [4]

Rating

The average share of the new channel reached over 2% in the 15+ audience group and over 3% in the 15-54 group in the first days of broadcasting.

The film The Wolf of Wall Street was seen by 135 thousand viewers. [3] The second evening, 121,000 viewers watched the premiere of Total Recall.

It is the first private TV channel in the Czech Republic and the former Czechoslovakia.

Television was introduced in Czechoslovakia in 1953. Experimental projects with DVB-T started in 2000. Finally on 21 October 2005, multiplex A (DVB-T) was launched with three channels of Česká televize and one of TV Nova and radio channels of Český rozhlas.

Slunečná is a Czech comedy and relationship television series that premiered on January 11, 2020, on the Prima. The first episode called "Sázka" (Bet) was the most watched program of the day and surpassed the competing Czech TV program Peče celá země. 14 January 2020, it also beat the series Ordinace v růžové zahradě 2. Filming of the series began in August 2019. Slunečná replaced the Krejzovi series in the broadcast. As of February 4, 2020, the sponsorship of the Sunny series is the most expensive of the Prima television programs. According to the available data, as of February 14, 2020, the series has the highest delayed viewership on computers and on TV. In Slovakia, JOJ TV broadcast the series from 25 August 2020 to 4 September 2020 under the name Slnečná. Only 4 episodes were broadcast due to low viewership. On October 22, 2021, Hungarian station ATV began broadcasting the series under the name Napfényes falunk, which can be loosely translated as "Our Sunny Village", with Hungarian dubbing.

Televize Seznam is a Czech full-format commercial television station offering nationwide broadcasting in the Czech Republic. Its director is Ivan Mikula, the operator of Seznam.cz is Ivo Lukačovič. It started broadcasting on January 12, 2018, at 7:00 a.m. and focuses mainly on documentaries, series and films, while also offering programs of its own creation originally broadcast on Seznam Zprávách or on its website. The title of the most-watched program was won by the fairy tale Give the Devil His Due, which had a share of 14.61% in the target group of 15–69 years on Christmas Day, which at the time represented an average viewership of 339,000 viewers. Right after it, the fairy tale film The Brave Blacksmith (13.45%) and Once Upon a Time, There Was a King...... (10.89%) were the most watched fairy tale films during the Christmas holidays. The first episode of the new TV series Seznam, entitled Revír, achieved an above-average share of 5.21% in the audience group 15–69 on Saturday, March 25. Prima Krimi is a FTV Prima channel that launched on 2 April 2018. It is focused on various foreign series and films, such as idsomer Murders, Bones, Castle, NCIS: Los Angeles or American Crime Story. The CEO of FTV Prima, Marek Singr, said that he hopes for a greater thematic diversity of the group's channels from the new channel. The Prima Krimi channel mainly influenced Prima Love, another channel of the group, which began to focus more on women's series and soap operas, with detective stories represented on Prima Krimi.
