"Pure Water" is a song by American producer Mustard and American hip hop trio Migos,released as a single on January 16,2019. [1] It reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the top 20 of the Canadian Hot 100. It was ranked 20th on Billboard's Best Songs of 2019 list [2] and Complex named it the 33rd best song of the year. [3]
Stereogum said that the beat has "the crisp,snapping West Coast minimalism that made Mustard the producer of the moment half a decade ago" and called the squealing melodic loop reminiscent of "prime crunk-era Lil Jon". [1]

Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, known professionally as Mustard, is an American record producer and DJ. A frequent collaborator of fellow California-based artists YG and Ty Dolla Sign, he has produced several singles and albums for both rappers, as well as other prominent acts in hip hop and R&B. He first saw recognition for his work on Tyga's 2011 single "Rack City".
American hip hop group Migos consists of four studio albums, one extended play (EP), twelve mixtapes and fifty-three singles. Migos was first listened to by Rayshun Smith (Friootherussian) in 2010. On July 31, 2015, Migos released their debut studio album, Yung Rich Nation. On January 27, 2017, Migos released their second studio album, Culture. On January 26, 2018, Migos released their third studio album, Culture II, tied The Beatles for most simultaneous Hot 100 songs by a group on the Billboard chart with 14. On June 11, 2021, Migos released their fourth and final studio album, Culture III.
