"Stir Fry" is a song by American hip hop group Migos. It was released on December 20, 2017, as the second single from Migos' third studio album Culture II (2018). Written alongside producer Pharrell Williams, it peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. [1]
"Stir Fry" differs from Migos' traditional Atlanta-style trap sound. In an interview with Beats 1's Ebro Darden, the group revealed the instrumental for the song was originally intended for an unreleased T.I. song in 2008. Quavo stated that "Pharrell said that he was waiting for this moment." [2]
The song was used for the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend. [3]
Pitchfork gave the song a positive review saying that, "The song's interlocking polyrhythms—bongos, cricket-like whistles, clicking trap hi-hats, and slowed-down snares sampled from the Mohawks' "Champ"—are a beauty to behold. It's a disorienting maze of sounds, a beat that's difficult to wrap your head around, let alone rap over." [4]
The music video was released on January 28, 2018. Directed by Sing Lee and Quavo, the video features the trio dressed in silk brocade suits gambling in a Chinese restaurant with Pharrell Williams and Nigo. At the end of the video, the trio clash with an opposing gang. [5]
Migos also created a cooking themed music video with BuzzFeed Tasty depicting the trio making a stir fry dish. [6]

Migos were an American hip hop group founded in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in 2008. The group was composed of rappers Quavo, his nephew Takeoff, and Offset. Quavo is from Athens, Georgia, and Offset and Takeoff were born and raised in nearby Lawrenceville. As a group, they were managed by Coach K, the former manager of Gucci Mane and Jeezy, and frequently collaborated with producers such as DJ Durel, Murda Beatz, Zaytoven, and Buddah Bless. Recognized for their contribution to trap music in the 2010s, Billboard stated that the group "influenced pop culture and the entire English language by bringing their North Atlanta roots to the mainstream".

"OMG" is a song recorded by Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello featuring American rapper Quavo. It was released on August 3, 2017 as a promotional single alongside "Havana", from her debut studio album Camila (2018), originally titled The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. "OMG" was ultimately removed from the final track listing. The song was written by the artists, Charli XCX, Noonie Bao, Sasha Sloan, and its producers Stargate. "OMG" has a slow, trap production that is characterized by use of double hi-hat rolls, flute flows and a smooth bass.
