The Piper Islands National Park is a national park in Far North Queensland, Australia. It lies 1977 km northwest of Brisbane. It comprises four small islands lying on the inner northern Great Barrier Reef off the eastern coast of the Cape York Peninsula in Temple Bay, between Cape Grenville and Fair Cape.

Ram Island is a small 20-acre (81,000 m2) island off the coast of Mystic, Connecticut. It is located in the Town of Stonington, approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) offshore, between Mystic and Fishers Island. Once called Mystic Island, it was formerly the site of an exclusive Victorian era hotel resort at which steamships from Boston and New York City stopped twice a day. At the height of its popularity, the hotel played host to a world lightweight bare-knuckle boxing championship. By the 1920s, the hotel had fallen into disrepair and was destroyed in the New England Hurricane of 1938. A motel was later built that catered to transient boaters.

Wellington Village is a neighbourhood in Kitchissippi Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded on the north by Scott Street, on the west by Island Park Drive, on the south by The Queensway and on the east by Holland Avenue. The neighbourhood is covered by the Wellington Village Community Association, with the exception of Island Park Drive, which is covered by the Island Park Community Association. The neighbourhood was originally named Elmdale for the number of elm trees in the area, and was founded in 1922. The homes were built between the 1920s and 1940s.
Fisher Channel is a channel in the Central Coast region of the Canadian province of British Columbia. To its west are Hunter and Denny Islands, to its east King Island. It was first charted in 1793 by George Vancouver during his 1791-95 expedition. He named it "Fisher’s Channel" after "a much-respected friend" Reverend John Fisher.
Joseph John Fisher White was a British stage and film actor. The eldest of four sons of Rev. John White, of Ampfield, of that family formerly of Hursley, by his wife Martha, daughter of Rev. John Fisher, he was educated at Monkton Combe School and Oriel College, Oxford, graduating BA in 1887. He became a solicitor's clerk.
