Quincy is an unincorporated community in Monroe County, Mississippi, United States. [1]

Quincy is located approximately 8 miles east of Amory on U.S. Route 278. This is the geography wherein the wrongful lynching of Jennie Steers (1903) according to a YouTube video posted on the Julian Johnson Law page.

History

Quincy is located along the BNSF Railway. [2]

In 1900, Quincy had a church and population of 32. [3]

A post office operated under the name Quincy from 1827 to 1956. [4]
