Albani Bryggerierne A/S is a brewery located in Odense, Denmark, and the vast majority of its customers live on the island of Funen. The brewery was founded by MPharm Theodor Schiøtz in 1859. In 2000, the brewery merged with Bryggerigruppen, a group of Danish regional breweries.

Rezidor Hotel Group AB formerly Rezidor SAS Hospitality and SAS International Hotels, is a Swedish listed company and a hotel group. Originally founded by Scandinavian conglomerate SAS Group as a hotel in 1960, it became a listed company in 2006. The global headquarters of Rezidor also relocated to Brussels, Belgium circa 1989. The listed company managed hotel chains that under the brands such as Radisson SAS, Park Inn, Country Inns & Suites and etc.. The brands were franchised from American hospitality and travel conglomerate Carlson Companies from 1994 and 2002 respectively. In 2005, Carlson also acquired 25% shares of Rezidor Hotel Group from SAS Group. Since 2007, SAS Group ceased to be a shareholder of the company. In 2010, Carlson Companies acquired the controlling influence on the listed company. In 2012, Rezidor Hotel Group started to integrate with direct parent company, Carlson Hotels, Inc., which both companies would collectivity known as Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. Carlson–Rezidor was one of the top hotel corporations in 2013. Carlson Hotels, Inc. and subsidiaries, including Rezidor Hotel Group, were sold to Chinese conglomerate HNA Group in 2016. However, in 2018, the Carlson–Rezidor group was re-sold to a consortium led by Jin Jiang International Holdings. In 2018, Rezidor Hotel Group AB also losing its corporate identity, which was renamed to Radisson Hospitality AB. The direct parent company, Carlson Hotels, Inc., had became Radisson Hospitality, Inc., the whole hotel group also had a new trading name Radisson Hotel Group.

Odense Palace in the city of Odense on the Danish island of Funen has its origins in a 15th-century monastery which passed to the Crown after the Reformation, and since then has served as an administrative building: in turn as a seigneurial residence, an amt administrator's residence, a governor's residence, and a municipal government building. The main white Baroque building with 13 bays was designed by J.C. Krieger and completed in 1723.
The Hans Christian Andersen Museum is a museum dedicated to famous author Hans Christian Andersen in Odense, Denmark. It is located in the building which is thought his birthplace, a small yellow house on the corner of Hans Jensens Stræde and Bangs Boder in the old town. In 1908, the house was opened as the Hans Christian Andersen Museum. It documents his life from his childhood years as the son of a struggling shoemaker, to his schooling, career as an author, and later life, with artefacts providing an insight into his acquaintances and adventures. Andersen's childhood home is on Munkemøllestræde not far from the cathedral. He lived in the little half-timbered house from the age of two until he was 14. Opened as a museum in 1930, the house contains an exhibition of the cobbling tools used by his father and other items based on Andersen's own descriptions.

In 2016, Carlson Companies sold Carlson–Rezidor to Chinese conglomerate HNA Group. However, in 2018, HNA Group re-sold Carlson–Rezidor to Jin Jiang International Holdings. In the fourth quarter of 2017, Carlson Hotels, Inc., the holding company of the group, was renamed to Radisson Hospitality, Inc., while the listed subsidiary Rezidor Hotel Group AB, was renamed to Radisson Hospitality AB.
