Three different types of Hemi engines have been built by Chrysler for automobiles: the first from 1951 to 1958, the second from 1964 to 1971, and the third from 2003 to 2024. Although Chrysler is most identified with the use of "Hemi" as a marketing term, many other auto manufacturers have incorporated similar designs. The engine block and cylinder heads were cast and manufactured at Indianapolis Foundry.

The Dodge Rampage was a concept pickup truck created by Dodge that shared a name with a previous production vehicle that was marketed in the early 1980s. The Rampage Concept was first introduced at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show. The Rampage was as wide as the then-current model Dodge Ram and was larger than its 1980s predecessor. "The Rampage was designed as a truck for people who aren't into trucks. More of a nontraditional truck buyer," stated exterior designer Scott Krugger upon its introduction.
R/T is the performance marker used on Dodge/Chrysler automobiles since the 1960s. R/T stands for Road/Track. R/T models usually come with R/T badging and a combination of upgraded suspension, tires, brakes, and often more powerful engines. Many models have also come with monotone paint and stripes as well as aggressive body kits. In 2004, the Chrysler SRT Division replaced R/T as the high performance auto group for Dodge vehicles, though the trim level is still in use on many current models with more powerful engines and cosmetic changes such as different rims and bumpers and grills and the R/T badge.

It was introduced as a production model in March 2024, following appearances of nearly identical concept cars in 2022. It is the first Dodge vehicle to be available with a battery electric powertrain, marketed as the Charger Daytona. A gasoline-powered version called the Charger Six Pack will be available in 2025, equipped with the 3.0-liter inline-six Hurricane engine.

Slotted above the Ram 1500, the Heavy Duty trucks range from the Ram 2500 to the Ram 5500. The Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 are offered as pickup trucks, while the Ram 3500 through Ram 5500 are offered as chassis cabs.
