Music was composed by Mano Murthy. The movie is a remake of the 1975 Hindi movie Chupke Chupke which itself remake of 1971 Bengali film Chhadmabeshi. The film's title is a reference to the popular Jog Falls.

The film stars Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role, with Shibani Dandekar and Siddhu Jonnalagadda playing supporting roles. The film encountered problems at every stage, from production to distribution, resulting in numerous delays and ultimately preventing its release.
