Raphael Davis (born September 1, 1976) is an American mixed martial artist who has fought for Bellator FC and M-1 Global.
Davis started his career in 2006, fighting mainly for Californian organizations. With a record of four wins and one loss, he signed with M-1 Challenge, a competition organized by M-1 Global.
He fought twice for M-1, defeating Jair Gonçalves and Jae Young Kim. [2] [3]
In 2010, with a record of 8-1 and victories over fighters like the TUF 8 finalist Vinny Magalhães [4] and the MFC former light heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton, [5] he signed with Bellator.
Davis made his debut on June 17, 2010, at Bellator 22 against Demetrius Richards. He won via submission in the very first round. [6]
Davis faced the former KOTC champion Tony Lopez on October 28, 2010, at Bellator 34. He won via unanimous decision (30-27, 30–27, 30–27). [7]
Davis faced D.J. Linderman on March 26, 2011, at Bellator 38 in the quarterfinal match of the season four light heavyweight tournament. After taking a significant amount of damage, Davis fallen via TKO in the third round. [8]
Davis faced Myron Dennis on October 8, 2011, at Bellator 53. He won via KO in the second round. [9]
In October 2013, it was announced that Davis signed a multi-fight deal with World Series of Fighting. [10]
In April 2012, Davis was arrested at his home in Lomita, California by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's investigators for suspicion of fraudulent claims of workers' compensation from December 2008 to May 2011, while competing in seven professional mixed martial arts matches during this time. [11] He was held on $30,000 bail and was released the following day. [12]
In September 2012, Davis pleaded guilty before the superior court to one felony count of filing a false workers’ compensation claim. The other three counts were dropped as a result of the plea and Davis had to complete 200 hours of community service. [13] [14] He was sentenced to three years of probation in March 2013. [15]

The Ultimate Fighter is an American reality television series and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Pilgrim Media Group currently airing on ESPN+. It previously aired for fourteen seasons on Spike TV. The show features professional MMA fighters living together in Las Vegas, Nevada, and follows them as they train and compete against each other for a prized six-figure contract with the UFC. The series debuted on January 17, 2005, with its first episode, "The Quest Begins". To date, there have been thirty seasons of the show, two per calendar year. Each season features either one or two weight classes in the tournament.
Marcus Paul Davis, is an American professional mixed martial artist and former professional boxer who is perhaps best known for competing in the UFC. A professional MMA competitor from 2003 until 2014, Davis also competed for Bellator MMA, the MFC, the Cage Fury Fighting Championships, and was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 2.
Melvin Manhoef is a retired Surinamese-born Dutch mixed martial artist and kickboxer. In kickboxing, he is a former It's Showtime Middleweight Champion, and in MMA he was the Cage Rage Light Heavyweight Champion. Anthony Kewoa Johnson was an American mixed martial artist. He spent most of his career competing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was a multiple time title challenger, before ending his career with a single fight with Bellator MMA. He fought in the welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. He was known by his nickname, Rumble, which he was given because of his one-punch knockout power. He also had a small acting role as a fighter in a large international mixed martial arts tournament called Sparta in the 2011 film Warrior.
Phil Kwabina Davis is an American mixed martial artist who currently competes as a Light Heavyweight for Bellator MMA, where he is the former Bellator Light Heavyweight World Champion. Prior to signing with Bellator, Davis competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, where he achieved success as a top 5 Light Heavyweight contender and held a UFC record of 9–3 (1).
