"Real Sugar" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 18 June 2001 as the second single from their seventh studio album, Room Service . The single was not released in the United Kingdom. [1]
The music video for "Real Sugar" was directed by Jesper Hiro. It begins with the music video for preceding single "The Centre of the Heart" being briefly shown on a small TV, before the channel is abruptly changed to a fictional late-night talk show hosted by a puppet. Roxette are seen performing the song while backed by the show's regular house band, puppets designed to resemble the Ramones. At the end of the video, the TV is turned off by two puppets, who are passionately kissing on a bed. [2] [3]
The song was not as successful as Roxette's preceding singles. It performed well in Sweden, where it peaked at number 23 and spent almost three months on the chart. [4] It became a hit in Argentina, where it peaked within the top three, [5] and also in Spain, charting within the top five of the Spanish Airplay Chart and at number 12 on their national sales chart. Conversely, it remains their worst-performing single to date in both Germany and Switzerland, spending a sole week on each chart and peaking at numbers 96 and 72, respectively. [7] [8]

Room Service is the seventh studio album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released worldwide from 2 April 2001. A planned release in the United States failed to materialise, as the duo's label there, Edel Records America, had been disbanded the previous month due to financial difficulties. Marie Fredriksson was not as involved in the album's production as she had been on previous records, taking part in the composition of just two songs. The album was remastered and reissued with bonus tracks in 2009.
The Ballad Hits is the second greatest hits compilation album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on 4 November 2002 by Roxette Recordings and Capitol Records. It was the first of a two-part series of "best of" albums released by the duo in quick succession, and was followed by The Pop Hits in March 2003. Two new songs were recorded specially for The Ballad Hits: lead single "A Thing About You" and "Breathe". The album was a commercial success upon release, and has been certified gold or platinum in a number of territories.

"Dangerous" is a song by the Swedish pop duo Roxette. Written by Per Gessle, the song was released as the fifth and final single from their second studio album Look Sharp! (1988). Gessle penned it just before Roxette's first tour in 1987. Released in May 1989, it was the group's third top 10 showing on the Billboard Hot 100, spending two weeks at number two in March 1990—kept off the top spot by Janet Jackson's "Escapade". The music video was recorded in the ruins of Borgholm Castle. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, "Dangerous" was released as a double A-side with "Listen to Your Heart".
"Stars" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 2 August 1999 as the third single from their sixth studio album, Have a Nice Day. It was their first – and only – foray into the techno subgenre, and features a children's choir in the song's chorus. A remix of the song by production collective Almighty served as the version which was predominantly played on European radio. The song became a hit throughout Europe, particularly in Scandinavia and in Germany, where it became the album's best-performing single. Its music video was directed by Anton Corbijn.

"Run to You" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 14 November 1994 as the fourth single from their fifth studio album Crash! Boom! Bang!. The song charted moderately in several territories, peaking at number twenty in Finland, while reaching the top forty in Belgium, Scotland, Switzerland and the UK. It was the duo's final single to chart in the top fifty of the Australian Singles Chart, peaking at number forty-nine.
"Almost Unreal" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 10 May 1993 as the lead single from the soundtrack of the 1993 live action adaption of Super Mario Bros., which starred Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo and Dennis Hopper. The song became a top twenty hit in numerous territories, including Scandinavia, Ireland and the UK. It would also be the duo's final top ten hit in both of the latter countries—excluding a re-release of "It Must Have Been Love" two months later. The song proved to be unsuccessful in North America, peaking at number 94 on the Billboard Hot 100, although it performed better in Canada where it peaked within the top thirty. Roxette themselves were later dismissive of both the song and the associated movie. It appeared as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of their next studio album, Crash! Boom! Bang! "The Big L." is a song by Swedish pop duo Roxette. Written by Per Gessle, it was released as the third single from their third studio album, Joyride (1991). The song became a top ten hit in Belgium, Ireland and Sweden, and was the highest-charting single released from Joyride in France. It also reached the top twenty in a number of other countries, including Australia, Austria, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. Despite a US radio mix of the song appearing on CD versions of the single, it was never released as a single in North America.
"Spending My Time" is a song by Swedish duo Roxette, released as the fourth single from their third studio album, Joyride (1991). It was written by Per Gessle and Mats Persson, and produced by Clarence Öfwerman. The single attained moderate success, reaching the top ten in Germany and Italy, and the top twenty in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, while peaking at number twenty-two on the UK Singles Chart and thirty-two on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
"One Wish" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 9 October 2006 as the lead single from the duo's fourth greatest hits compilation album, A Collection of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs! It was recorded in June 2006, and was one of the first songs recorded by the duo since vocalist Marie Fredriksson's brain tumour diagnosis in 2002. Longtime collaborator Jonas Åkerlund directed the song's music video. The single performed well in several territories, particularly in Scandinavia. It ended 2006 as one of the twenty best-selling singles in Sweden.

The song would be given a wider release when it was issued as one of the b-sides on the duo's proceeding single, "Almost Unreal", which was released four months later in May 1993.
"June Afternoon" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released in January 1996 as the second single from their greatest hits compilation album Don't Bore Us, Get to the Chorus! "She Doesn't Live Here Anymore" is a song by Roxette, released as the third and final single from their greatest hits compilation Don't Bore Us, Get to the Chorus! Roxette's Greatest Hits (1995). The song had originally been written and recorded for the duo's 1994 studio album Crash! Boom! Bang! but, according to Marie Fredriksson, that version "sounded really tired", and has yet to be released. It was later re-recorded in July 1995 with members of Per Gessle's former band Gyllene Tider. It is the only song in Roxette's discography to not be produced by Clarence Öfwerman. "She Doesn't Live Here Anymore" was only released in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, peaking at number 86 on the German Singles Chart. The single included two remixed versions of "The Look" as b-sides. Its music video was directed by Jonas Åkerlund.
"Milk and Toast and Honey" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 16 September 2001 as the third and final single from their seventh studio album, Room Service. It was also the only single from the album to be released in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number 89. "Reveal" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 10 January 2007 as the final single from the duo's fourth greatest hits compilation album, A Collection of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs! (2006). Gessle was reportedly unhappy with the original album version of the track, so a slightly remixed single version was created, incorporating a re-recorded middle 8. Two other remixes were also created: one by Swedish house duo The Attic, and another by record producer Kleerup. "Reveal" became the duo's 35th and – as of 2017 – final song to enter the Swedish Singles Chart, where it peaked at number 59. It failed to chart elsewhere.
Roxette XXX – The 30 Biggest Hits is the sixth greatest hits compilation album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on 3 November 2014 by Roxette Recordings in conjunction with Parlophone and Warner Music Group.
