It was built in 1792, when the settlement was known as Brookfield. It is one of the oldest extant church buildings in the county, and one of the earliest buildings in the settlement that became Slate Hill.
The James Petigru Boyce Chapel is a historic church building at 1306 Hampton Street in Columbia, South Carolina. It is a Greek Revival building built in 1859. A convention met here on December 17, 1860, whose delegates voted unanimously for South Carolina to secede from the United States, leading to the American Civil War. It was designated a National Historic Landmark as First Baptist Church, the role it played at the time. The building is part of the facilities complex of the First Baptist Church, Columbia- a Southern Baptist megachurch.

The Oconaluftee Baptist Church, also known as the Smokemont Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near Cherokee, North Carolina. It is located off United States Route 441, overlooking the Smokemont Campground of the park. It is a basically rectangular wood-frame structure, 30 feet (9.1 m) wide and 50 feet (15 m) deep. The church's tower projects from the front of this main block, and rises about 10 feet (3.0 m) above the level of the gable roof; it does not have a spire or steeple, and its uppermost section is a louvered belfry. This church building was built in 1912 for a congregation organized in 1836. The congregation's records form a valuable documentation of local history. The church remained in active use until the area was made part of the national park in 1935, and has seen occasional use since then.

It was built about 1742, and is a simple gable-front frame structure sheathed in weatherboard. A Gothic Revival style frame tower was added in 1901. It was built in 1855, and is an open rectangular structure measuring 35 feet by 55 feet. The Damascus Baptist Church Arbor continues to be used for brush arbor revivals. It has a gable-on-hip roof and hand hewn, pegged frame, log rafters. The arbor is part of a Damascus Baptist Church complex that includes a church, education building, and cemetery.
Hannah's Creek Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Primitive Baptist church located at Benson, Johnston County, North Carolina. It was built about 1834 or about 1866, and is a vernacular one-story rectangular, timber-frame building, five bays wide and three bays deep. It rests on a brick pier foundation and has a gable roof. The building measures 36 feet wide and 48 feet long. The church was moved to its present location in the 1930s. Also on the property is a contributing church cemetery with burials dating from the late-19th century to 1940.
Bear Grass Primitive Baptist Church is a historic Primitive Baptist church located on the north side NC 1001, 0.1 miles north of the junction with NC 1106 in Bear Grass, Martin County, North Carolina. It was built in 1877, and is a front-gable, two-bay frame building. The building measures 42 feet, 2 3/4 inches, wide and 64 feet, 4 1/2 inches deep. It rests on a brick pier foundation and it is believed that parts of the earlier building are incorporated into the current edifice.
Jamesville Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery, also known as Jamesville Women's Club, is a historic Primitive Baptist church and cemetery located on the east side of NC 171 in Jamesville, Martin County, North Carolina. It was built between 1865 and 1870, and is a rectangular one-story frame building with gable-front roof. It is two-bays wide and three bays deep and is sheathed with plain weatherboards. The Jamesville Women's Club acquired the building and its lot in 1953.

New Hope Primitive Baptist Church, also known as New Hope Church, is a historic Primitive Baptist church located near Richmond, Ray County, Missouri. The church was established c. 1820 as North Bluffton and the building was constructed in 1897. It is a one-story, rectangular, vernacular Greek Revival style frame building. It measures 30 feet by 40 feet and has a high gable roof. Adjacent to the church is a contributing cemetery containing 166 graves dating from 1856 to 1973.
