Melaka FM is a regional Malay language radio station operated by Radio Televisyen Malaysia out of the state capital of Malacca, Malaysia. Broadcasting started in 1946 from the Stadthuys building. The Station transmits on FM 102.3 MHz from Gunung Ledang. The Melaka FM transmissions were formerly on AM 1008 kHz, until 2002. The Station can be received statewide as well as in some parts of Johor, Negeri Sembilan, south west Pahang and part of Selangor.

Capital FM was a radio station launched in 2011 by a team led by Jamal Hassim, a Malaysia-based media entrepreneur, together with a group of influential investors. The station was a radio network that pitched programming for listeners in the Klang Valley, the first Malaysian urban focused station. The station merged with the Rediffusion Group and the network was repositioned to address urban female listeners and marketed as the destination of choice for stylish, thinking women, targeted 25–34 years old's living in cities and other urban areas in Malaysia.
988 FM is a Malaysian Chinese-language radio station. The stations broadcast area covers West Malaysia and Singapore. The station is managed by Star Media Radio Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Media Group Berhad. 988 FM began broadcasting in 1996 as a trilingual radio station, with 50% Chinese content and became a fully-fledged radio station in December 1997. The station aims to reflect and cater to the different Chinese-speaking cultures of Malaysia.

In 2015, as according to Nielsen RAM Survey Wave #1, THR Raaga maintained its position as Malaysia's leading Tamil-language station with over two million listeners. CITYPlus FM is a Chinese business radio station catering primarily to Chinese-speaking PMEBs and SMEs in Malaysia. It is owned by Ooga X Sdn Bhd. The radio station started its trial transmission in Kuching on 24 April 2016 on FM 92.5 MHz. Another trial transmission was aired in Seremban on FM 106.0 MHz by launching a transmitter in Gunung Telapak Buruk. On 2 May 2017, the radio station was officially launched in these areas. Meanwhile Kuching FM 92.5 MHz was rebranded as the third radio station. Its frequency for the Klang Valley was formerly carried by Red FM before June 2009.

IKIMfm (formerly known as IKIM.fm and Radio IKIM) is a radio station in Malaysia. IKIM is an abbreviation for the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia, which is the operator of this radio station. IKIMfm is the first Islamic radio station in Malaysia that operates for 24 hours. IKIMfm was officially launched by the then Prime Minister, YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on 6 July 2001.
