Davidson County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2020 census, the population was 168,930. Its county seat is Lexington, and its largest city is Thomasville.

U.S. Route 17 or U.S. Highway 17 (US 17), also known as the Coastal Highway, is a north–south United States Highway that spans in the southeastern United States. It runs close to the Atlantic Coast for much of its length. The highway's southern terminus is at Punta Gorda, Florida, at an intersection with US 41. Traveling north, US 17 joins up with US 50 in Paris, Virginia, and the northern terminus of US 17 is in downtown Winchester, Virginia. This is also the point at which the portion of US 50 called the Northwestern Turnpike begins.
U.S. Route 501 is a spur of U.S. Route 1. It runs 355 miles (571 km) from Buena Vista, Virginia at U.S. Route 60 to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at U.S. Route 17 Business. It passes through the states of Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. From Durham to Laurinburg, a 108-mile (174 km) section of US 501 overlaps U.S. Route 15. Sections of US 15-501 also share routings with U.S. Route 1 in sections near Sanford, North Carolina and Aberdeen, North Carolina.

North Carolina Highway 12 (NC 12) is a 148.0-mile-long (238.2 km) primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina, linking the peninsulas and islands of the northern Outer Banks. Most sections of NC 12 are two lanes wide, and there are also two North Carolina Ferry System routes which maintain continuity of the route as it traverses the Outer Banks region. NC 12 is part of the Outer Banks Scenic Byway, a National Scenic Byway. The first NC 12 appeared on the 1924 North Carolina Official Map and at its height ran from NC 30 in Pollocksville to NC 48 near Murfreesboro. Over time it was replaced by both U.S. Route 258 (US 258) and NC 58 and ceased to exist in 1958. The current NC 12 first appeared on the 1964 state highway map running from US 158 in Nags Head to Ocracoke. In 1976 NC 12 was extended to US 70 on the mainland and in 1987 was extended north to Corolla.
Reeds Spring Junction is an unincorporated community in eastern Stone County, Missouri, United States. It was so named as it was located on U.S. Route 160 at Route 248, a road which continued to the city of Reeds Spring two miles to the west. It had previously been known as Stutts.

Davidson County Schools is a School district in Davidson County, North Carolina. The administrative education board is headquartered just off of U.S. Highway 64 on County School Road just outside the city limits of Lexington, North Carolina. The school system comprises seven high schools, seven middle schools, eighteen elementary schools, one extended day school, one ungraded special school, and a STEM based career academy. The superintendent is Dr. Emily Lipe. Two other school districts, Lexington City Schools and Thomasville City Schools, are also found in Davidson County.

U.S. Route 1 (US 1) is a north–south United States highway which runs along the Eastern Coast of the United States between Key West, Florida and the United States–Canada border near Fort Kent, Maine. In North Carolina, US 1 runs for 174.1 miles (280.2 km) across the central region of the state. The highway enters North Carolina from South Carolina, southwest of Rockingham. US 1 runs northeast, passing through or closely bypassing Southern Pines and Sanford in the Sandhills region. It next passes through Cary, the state capital of Raleigh, and Wake Forest. The highway continues north to Henderson, before leaving the state at the Virginia state line, near Wise. The route is mostly a multi-lane divided arterial road, with several freeway segments. It serves as a strategic highway, connecting the North Carolina Sandhills and Research Triangle regions northwards to the Southside Virginia region.
North Carolina Highway 73 (NC 73) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina that travels through south-central North Carolina in the United States. Most of the route is a two-lane highway that passes through both rural scenic areas; however, it also serves several small and moderate-sized cities in the state, including Concord and Albemarle. The western terminus of NC 73 is at an intersection with NC 27 east of Lincolnton and its eastern terminus is at a junction with US 15/US 501 in Eastwood.

North Carolina Highway 210 is a 192-mile-long (309 km) primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina that connects settlements in the Atlantic Coastal Plain region. Due to its meandering route NC 210 changes directional orientation twice, changing from east-west to north-south at Old Stage Road east of Angier, then changing from north-south to west-east at the Bladen–Pender county line. The route traverses through central Fayetteville and the Fort Bragg Army installation and crosses both Topsail Island access bridges over the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Owing primarily to its meandering route, NC 210 is the sixth longest state highway in North Carolina.
Tyro Tavern, also known as Thompson House and Davis House, is a historic home located at Tyro, Davidson County, North Carolina. It was built about 1840, and is a two-story, five bay by three bay, Greek Revival style brick dwelling. It has a one-story, shed roofed rear porch.
Reeds Station is an unincorporated community in DeSoto Township, Jackson County, Illinois, United States. The community is located along County Route 11 4.6 miles (7.4 km) northeast of Carbondale.
