Characteristics

The Renault Trucks C incorporates a temporary hydrostatic traction system in its front axle (Optitrack). It also adds new comfort and security features. [2]

Engines

The C offers three Euro 6 engines, the 8 L DTI 8 (with a power output of 250, 280 and 320 hp) the 11 L DTI 11 (380, 430 and 460 hp) and the 13 L DTI 13 (440, 480 and 520 hp).

The Renault Magnum is a heavy-duty truck that was produced by the French Manufacturer Renault Véhicules Industriels and later Renault Trucks from 1990 to 2013. The Magnum was available in articulated and rigid configurations, both configurations could be bought with a 6×2 or 4×2 drivetrain. The 6×4 is merely designed for heavy haulage uses.

The Nissan Atlas is a series of pickup trucks and light commercial vehicles manufactured by Nissan. It is built by UD Trucks for the Japanese market, and by the Renault-Nissan Alliance for the European market. The lighter range vehicles, weighing from 1 to 1.5 tons, replaced the earlier Cabstar and Homer (F20), while the heavier Caball and Clipper (C340) were replaced by the 2-to-4 ton range Atlas. The Atlas nameplate was first introduced in December 1981, available at Nissan Bluebird Store locations.

The Renault Twizy is a two-seat electric microcar designed and marketed by Renault. It is classified in Europe as either a light or heavy quadricycle depending on the output power, which is either 4 kW (5.4 hp) for the 45 model or 13 kW (17 hp) for the 80 model, both names reflecting its top speed in km/h. Originally manufactured in Valladolid, Spain, production was moved to Busan in South Korea in March 2019 to meet increased demand in Asia. In July 2023 it was announced that production of the Twizy was to end in September 2023; it is to be replace by the new Mobilize Duo.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Renault Kerax</span>

The Renault Kerax is a medium- and heavy-duty truck manufactured by Renault Trucks, aimed at the construction industry, and is available as a rigid body or tractor configuration. It was launched in 1997, and underwent a full upgrade in 2006. Production of the Kerax ended in 2013, when it was replaced by the C and K range which are powered by Euro VI engines. Military versions, however, are still available.

The 1983 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré was the 35th edition of the cycle race and was held from 30 May to 6 June 1983. The race started in Sallanches and finished in Pierrelatte. The race was won by Greg LeMond of the Renault-Elf team. Pascal Simon, the initial winner, tested positive for Micorene and was given a time penalty, which resulted in his demotion to fourth place.
