The Renault Trucks K is a range of heavy-duty trucks for construction introduced in 2013 by the French truckmaker Renault Trucks. [2]
The Renault Trucks K incorporates an all-wheel drive system as well as security and comfort improvements. The maximum gross combined weight is 120 tonnes. [2]
An all-wheel drive vehicle is one with a powertrain capable of providing power to all its wheels, whether full-time or on-demand.
The gross combined weight rating or gross combination weight rating (GCWR), also referred to as the gross combination mass (GCM), gross train weight (GTW), or maximum authorised mass (MAM), is the maximum allowable combined mass of a road vehicle, the passengers and cargo in the tow vehicle, plus the mass of the trailer and cargo in the trailer. The range has been sold across the world. It shares its platform with the Nissan Caravan. In spring 2014, Cabstar is now known as NT400.
