Reticulitermes lucifugus is classified as a species of termite in the genus Reticulitermes . Its diet consists mainly of rotten timber and logs.^[1] It is found in the Provence region,^[2] Italy,^[3] and the Broadleaf woodlands ^[1] of North America.
