Commercial performance

Ricky Martin peaked at number five on the Latin Pop Albums in the US and sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. [2] It was certified Gold in Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Puerto Rico. [3] [4] The album includes Martin's first solo hits: "Fuego Contra Fuego," "El Amor de Mi Vida" and "Vuelo".

He is known for his musical versatility, with his discography incorporating a wide variety of many elements, such as Latin pop, dance, reggaeton, salsa, and other genres. Born in San Juan, Martin began appearing in television commercials at age nine and began his musical career at twelve, as a member of Puerto Rican boy band Menudo. He began his solo career in 1991 while in Sony Music Mexico, gaining recognition in Latin America with the release of his first two studio albums, Ricky Martin (1991) and Me Amaras (1993), both of which were focused on ballads.

The recordings are in Spanish. The album contains reworkings of two of Martin's early songs: "Fuego Contra Fuego" and "El Amor de Mi Vida". The compilation was released in two different formats. The CD edition contains sixteen of his best songs, in the American and Japanese version, the song "Sólo Quiero Amarte" is included. The DVD edition contains thirteen music videos of Martin.

Vuelve is the fourth studio album by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin. Sony Discos and Columbia Records released it on February 12, 1998. Martin worked with producers KC Porter, Robi Draco Rosa, and Desmond Child to create the album. Following the worldwide success of the song "María" from his previous album, A Medio Vivir (1995), Martin returned to the studio and began recording material while on tour. Vuelve is a Latin record with Latin dance numbers and pop ballads. "María" caught the attention of FIFA, who asked Martin to write an anthem for the 1998 FIFA World Cup being held in France. Martin subsequently recorded "La Copa de la Vida", composed by Porter, Rosa, and Desmond Child for the World Cup.

This is the first album released by Draco after his non-hodgkin lymphoma cancer diagnosis near his liver on April 25, 2011. It is entitled Vida symbolizing Draco's recovery after his cancer treatment. CNCO was a Latin American boy band based in Miami, Florida. The group consisted of Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez and Zabdiel De Jesús; Joel Pimentel was a member until his departure in May 2021. They won a five-year recording contract with Sony Music Latin after becoming the winning competitors of the first season of La Banda. The band toured with Ricky Martin. Their debut and second singles "Tan Fácil" and "Quisiera", charted well soon after their debut. They released their first album, Primera Cita, on August 26, 2016, which included the hit "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)".
