The Black and White Tour (Blanco y Negro Tour) was a worldwide concert tour by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, in support of his 2006 album MTV Unplugged . The tour visited the Americas and Europe.
The show, directed for the stage by Jamie King included Ricky Martin's biggest hits, along with songs from his latest live album MTV Unplugged . The two-hour show was divided into four segments: tribal, romance, revolution and, rave.
The tour kicked off with four nights at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan on February 9, 2007 and travelled to several countries in South and Central America. [1] The Latin American leg of the Black and White Tour wrapped up in late March in Mexico.
The North American leg started at HP Pavilion at San Jose on April 17, 2007. [2] [3] It took Martin to arenas in 17 cities. Three shows from May 14–16 were cancelled (El Paso, Glendale and Albuquerque), after Martin suffered a lower back sprain during a show in Laredo.
In July 2007, Ricky Martin completed a series of sold-out arena dates in Europe, and announced the dates for a second American leg of his Black and White Tour. After playing in Puerto Rico and Mexico, the US portion of new run kicked off on September 29, 2007 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, and run through October 14, 2007. The last stop included the performance at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. [4] Ricky Martin was also the inaugural act who played at the new Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater on October 10–12, 2007. [5]

On Billboard's Top 25 Tours of the first half of 2007 (between November 15, 2006 and May 15, 2007), Ricky Martin ranked at number 19. The tour grossed $13,124,673, with capacity 273,899 and attendance 250,463. Five shows out of twenty two were sold out. And on Billboard's Top 25 Boxscores of the same period, Martin ranked at number 15 with his Coliseo de Puerto Rico concerts which grossed $3,988,207. [27]
Shows in Vina del Mar and Buenos Aires were broadcast on national televisions. Ricky Martin filmed a concert DVD at San Juan, Puerto Rico's José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, on August 10–11, 2007. [28] Ricky Martin Live: Black and White Tour was released on CD, DVD, CD/DVD on November 6, 2007, and on Blu-ray Disc on November 25, 2008.
The Adventures of Mimi was a 2006 concert tour of arenas by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. It was the sixth concert tour of her then-sixteen-year career, and was named after a fan's "Carey-centric" diary of the same name, in addition to her album at the time, The Emancipation of Mimi. The bus tour started in late July and ended in October, with two stops in Africa, twenty-five stops in the United States, seven in Canada, and seven in Asia. At the end of 2006, the tour placed 24th on Pollstar's "Top 100 Tours", earning $27.9 million with 32 shows from the North American leg.
Living Proof: The Farewell Tour was the fifth concert tour by American singer-actress Cher to promote her twenty-fourth studio album, Living Proof and her eighth official compilation album, The Very Best of Cher. It began on June 14, 2002 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was originally planned as a 59-date tour in North America.
Oral Fixation Tour was the fourth concert tour by Colombian singer Shakira. It was launched in support of her sixth and seventh studio albums Fijación Oral, Vol. 1 (2005). and Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 (2005). It began on 14 June 2006 at the Feria De Muestras in Zaragoza, Spain. The Let's Talk About Love World Tour was the eighth concert tour by Canadian recording artist Celine Dion. Visiting North America, Asia and Europe; the trek supported Dion's fifth English and fifteenth studio album Let's Talk About Love (1997). and her eleventh French and sixteenth studio album, S'il suffisait d'aimer (1998). The tour marks Dion's last worldwide tour until her Taking Chances World Tour in 2008–2009. Initially planned for 1998, the success of the tour continued into 1999. In 1998, the tour earned nearly $30 million from its concerts in North America alone. In Japan, tickets were immediately sold out on the first day of public sale. It was also nominated for "Major Tour of the Year" and "Most Creative Stage Production" at the Pollstar Industry Awards. According to Pollstar, the tour grossed about $91.2 million from 69 reported shows. The total gross for its overall 97 dates is estimated at $133 million, making it the highest-grossing female tour of the 1990s.
A New Day... was the first concert residency performed by Canadian singer Celine Dion in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It was created and directed by Franco Dragone to support her seventh English-language and eighteenth studio album A New Day Has Come (2002). The show premiered on 25 March 2003 and ended on 15 December 2007.

México En La Piel Tour was a concert tour performed by Luis Miguel in support of his studio albums México en la Piel and later Navidades during 2006–2007. On this tour, Luis Miguel performed his recent pop songs, his newest mariachi songs, and also his back-catalogue. The tour took an organic and intimate approach, excluding the elaborate theatrics and pyrotechnics her concerts have become infamous for, focusing on her musicality and choreography. The Música + Alma + Sexo World Tour was the eighth concert tour by Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Ricky Martin. The tour supported his ninth studio album, Música + Alma + Sexo (2011). It began with a series of concerts in Puerto Rico and North America, with international dates later in the year. The tour was his first in four years, the previous being the 2007 Black and White Tour. On the Pollstar Top 50 Worldwide Tours of the first half of 2011, Ricky Martin ranked at number 42. His tour grossed $17.7, with 37 shows and 246,141 total tickets. After visiting 28 countries throughout North America, Europe and Latin America, Ricky Martin formally ended his tour on November 12, 2011 in his homeland, Puerto Rico, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot. The tour was planned to close on November 19, 2011 in Santo Domingo, however it got cancelled
One Night Only with Ricky Martin was a worldwide concert tour by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, in support of his 2005 album Life. The tour visited the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Ricky Martin Live was the ninth concert tour by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin. It supported his compilation album, Greatest Hits: Souvenir Edition. The tour started in Newcastle on October 3, 2013 and continued across Australia for three weeks before coming to a close on October 20, 2013 in Melbourne. He continued throwing concerts in venues in the Americas in the later months, as well as participating in the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco.
The PrismaticWorld Tour was the third concert tour by American singer Katy Perry, in support of her fourth studio album, Prism (2013). The tour began on May 7, 2014, at Belfast, Northern Ireland's Odyssey Arena and ended on October 18, 2015, at Alajuela, Costa Rica's Parque Viva after six legs. The Prismatic World Tour grossed more than $204.3 million from 149 shows, with a total tour attendance of 1,984,503 between 2014 and 2015; the tour is Perry's most successful, to-date.
The One World Tour was the tenth tour by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, in support of his tenth studio album A Quien Quiera Escuchar (2015). The tour began in Auckland, New Zealand at the Vector Arena on April 17, 2015 and was extended to conclude in the Dubai International Jazz Festival in February 2018. The One World Tour grossed $57.4 million with a total attendance of 802,931 from 105 shows reported in 2015 and 2016.
The Movimiento Tour was the eleventh concert tour by Puerto Rican recording artist Ricky Martin, in support of his eleventh studio album, which was set to be called Movimiento (2020). The tour began in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum on February 7, 2020. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, more than half of the scheduled dates were canceled. Also because of the pandemic and subsequent personal experiences, Martin decided to split the tour's associated album in two extended plays, Pausa and Play; the former was released on May 29, 2020, and the latter is expected to be released in September 2020.
