Robinsonekspedisjonen: 2008 was the eighth season of the Norwegian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson, and it premiered on 5 September 2008 and aired until 5 December 2008.
The major twist in season eight was the "Heaven and Hell" living areas that the tribes lived in. The North team won the first immunity challenge and earned the right to live in "Heaven", which included huts and beds, while the losers, South team, were forced to live in a bat cave. The season is also remembered for the high amount of contestants to leave the show either voluntarily or in an evacuation. Throughout the season, there were several minor twists put into place such as the elimination duel between Manuel and Susanne in episode 2 and the double elimination the South team faced when they chose to through a challenge in order to eliminate a team member.
The biggest twist of all occurred when the teams merged. At the time of the merge there were only seven original contestants left in the tribe, however due to the amount of contestants who left early, three reserves entered. Preceding the merge was an elimination challenge which George Stephen Vaz lost, however it was later revealed that this was not a real elimination challenge and that he could earn a spot back in the game if he won it against the contestant of his choice. Vaz chose Hege Reime as his opponent and won the duel. Unlike in most years, instead of there being a final four there was a final three that faced off in a challenge to determine who would face the jury. Ultimately, it was Tom André Tveitan who won the season over Britt Carin Jonassen with a 6-1 jury vote.

As was the twist this season, beginning after the first reward challenge the winning tribe would be sent to live an island full of luxuries while the losing tribe was sent to live in a cave. In episode six Nelden chose to voluntarily leave the game in exchange for a prize trip. By doing this he automatically sent the remaining two members of South back to the cave.

Expeditie Robinson: 2004, was the fifth Dutch/Belgian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson, or Survivor as it is referred to in some countries. This season began airing on September 5, 2004 and concluded on November 28, 2004. The major twist this season was that the team tribes were divided up by participants country of origin with one tribe, België (Belgium), being composed of contestants from Belgium and one tribe, Nederlands (Netherlands), being composed of contestants from the Netherlands. Another major twist this season came to light in episode 1, when after an initial elimination challenge the two eliminated contestants, Ernestine Schweig and Sarah Bleecker, were told that instead of being eliminated they were going to live in an area known as the "Mangrove". From then on, any contestant that either lost a challenge or voted out were sent to the Mangrove. Throughout the competition many contestants living in the Mangrove were given opportunities to re-enter the game, however it was not until episode 9, when the contestants living in the Mangrove won a challenge against the merge tribe, known as Teluk, in order to re-enter the game. Another twist that occurred this season was that of a tribal swap which took place in episode 4. Following the Mangrove contestants return to the game, a power struggle ensued between the Belgian and Dutch contestants. Ultimately, it was Belgian contestant Frank Meulder who won the season over fellow Belgian Matthias Verscheure with an overwhelming majority jury vote of 10-2. Like the previous season, the public was asked to vote in case of a tie. The public, like most of the jury, voted in favor of Frank.
Expeditie Robinson: 2005 was the sixth Dutch-Belgian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson, or Survivor as it is referred to in some countries. The season began airing on September 5, 2005, and concluded on November 28, 2005. The major twist this season was that the tribes were initially divided up by the participants' ages. The Jong (Young) tribe was composed of the contestants age 30 and under and the Oud (Old) tribe was composed of contestants over the age of 40. Unbeknownst to the original tribes, there was a secret third tribe that consisted of two contestants, Esther Jacobs and Marnix Allegaert, who were in their 30s, who lived in an area known as "Secret Island". These two contestants were soon joined by Douwe Popma, who had been voted out immediately after a challenge. In episode 4, the two original teams were dismantled and the remaining players were mixed up into new tribes known as the North and South teams. With these new tribes, all who had previously been living on the Secret island joined one of the two new tribes in the game and Nicole Hendriks, who had been eliminated in the previous episode, re-entered the game as a replacement for the large number of contestants who had left the game. Along with the new tribes came tribal leaders, who were elected in each episode and were immune at tribal council.
Expeditie Robinson: 2006, was the eighth Dutch/Belgian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson, or Survivor as it is referred to in some countries. This season began airing on August 28, 2006 and concluded on November 20, 2006. The major twist this season was that the tribes were initially divided up by gender with one "All-Star" contestant joining each tribe. These two All-Stars were, Klaar Lippe and Robin Ibens. Though the main twist may have seemed like a repeat of twists that occurred in previous seasons, unlike previous seasons with a similar twist this season male contestants were from Belgium and all females from the Netherlands. While the All-Star contestants weren't eligible to win, they could vote and following a tribal swap in episode 4, they could give any contestant on their tribe immunity at tribal council. Following the merge in episode 8, the twist that was "Losers Island", was introduced to the game. After a contestant was eliminated they would be sent to Losers island where they would wait until there were only two contestants left in the game at which point the six contestants on the island would vote for one of their own to return. When it came time to vote for a winner, the public, instead of a jury decided the winner. In the end, it was Olga Urashova who returned from Losers island in the final three, who won the season over Lenny Janssen with a public vote of 52% to Lenny's 48%.

Survivor 2, was the second edition of the Greek version of the popular reality show Survivor and it aired from September 2004 to December 2004. There were a few main twists this season, the first being that the tribes were initially divided by gender. However, this twist was short lived due to the evacuation of Helen and Maria's voluntary exit both which took place in week two of the shows airing. The other twist for this season was that of "Gkoal", when a contestant was voted out they would be given a chance to go to Gkoal where they would duel other contestants for a spot in the game. The winner of Gkoal was Manolis. Right before the merge, the contestants took part in a challenge which Giannis lost and was eliminated. When it came time for the final four, all remaining contestants were asked to vote for someone to return to the game from the eliminated contestants, Konstantina who had been voted out right after the elimination challenge that took place before the merge, received the most votes and returned to the game. When given the opportunity to vote for a winner only three jury members chose to vote as the others didn't feel either of the final two deserved to win the season. Ultimately, it was Konstantinos Christodoulopoulos won this season over Anna Majuro with a jury vote of 3-0.
Survivor Turkey is the Turkish version of the popular reality Survivor. This version of the show has aired on both Kanal D in 2005, and on Show TV in 2006, 2007, and 2010. From the beginning Survivor was a success in Turkey, however, the cost of producing the show proved to be too much for Kanal D and even Show TV could not afford to produce the show on a yearly basis. Because of production costs the show was put on hiatus in 2007 and was brought back three years later. The prize for the first seasons of the show was 150,000 euros, for the second and third seasons 250,000 euros, and 500,000 dollars for the fourth season.
Suomen Robinson 2005 was the second season of the Finnish version of Expedition Robinson—or Survivor, as it is referred to in some countries—and premiered on September 18, 2005, and concluded December 12, 2005. Immediately upon arriving to the island the contestants were forced to compete in two challenges in order to determine who would be eliminated. The two contestants, Elena Sinkevitch and Mari Jalonen, were both sent to a secret island. As a major twist this season, during the pre-merge portion of the game when a contestant was voted out they would move to a secret island where they would compete against two other contestants to remain in the game. The two contestants left on the secret island following the final duel, Elena Sinkevitch and Markku Markkanen, joined the other members of the merge tribe. The contestants were then divided up into two tribes known as "Goal" and "Texas". When it came time for the final four, the contestants took part in the infamous "plank" competition in which Jasna Preselj was eliminated and Markku Markkanen advanced to the final two. The other two contestants then took part in one more challenge in which Mira Jantunen won and advanced to the final two while Elena Sinkevitch was eliminated. The final two then took part in a duel which Mira Jantunen won and earned an extra jury vote for herself. Along with this, Mira also won the audience's jury vote. Ultimately, it was Mira Jantunen who won this season over Markku Markkanen by a unanimous jury vote of 11-0 to win €40,000.
Expeditie Robinson: Strijd der Titanen, was a special All-Stars season of the Dutch/Belgian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson, or Survivor as it is referred to in some countries. This season began airing in March 2006 and concluded in July of that year. This season began with a surprise "plank" challenge in which the winner would automatically be immune from the first elimination and would be one of two contestants to be "leaders" of a tribe. As the winner of this challenge Ilona van der Laan, along with Veronique De Pryker, who Ilona picked as the person she got along with the least, picked their tribes from the fifteen other contestants. The last person not picked, Björn Lemeirel, was eliminated from the game. Another twist occurred in episode four when each tribe was asked to pick one player that they trusted the most. The North team chose Melvin Pigot, while the South team chose Richard Mackowia. These two contestants were both sent to a secret island called Entatula where the merge tribe of Panga would live. Eventually those living on the island had chosen all but Fleur Roozenburg, Lydia Guiso, Maxime Verbist, Ryan van Esch, and Veronique De Pryker to join them, they composed the Miniloc tribe and were forced to take part in a series of duels until only one remained and would return to the game. When it came time for the final four, the contestants took part in a couple of final challenges in order to determine who would be the finalists. The first of these challenges was won by Jennifer Smit while the second was won by Ryan van Esch. Ultimately, it was Ryan van Esch who won this season over Jennifer Smit by a jury vote of 4-2.
Robinson: Love Edition was the sixteenth season of Expedition Robinson, the Swedish version of Survivor, and the first to air on Sjuan. Linda Lindorff, the host of Robinson 2009, returned to host this season. Fitting with the season's theme, all contestants were single people between the ages of 20 and 42, the tribes were initially divided by gender, and a pair composed of one man and one woman won the season.
