Med City FC is a men's soccer club based in Rochester, Minnesota. It competes in the NPSL Midwest Region's North Conference. [5] [1] The club's colors are blue and green.

History

Med City FC was founded in 2017 by Frank Spaeth, joining NPSL's North Conference as an expansion team. [6] [7]

In late 2019, City was announced as a participant in the 2020 U.S. Open Cup due to its performance in the previous season. [8] This would be the team's first appearance in the tournament. However, on March 13, 2020, U.S. Soccer elected to temporarily suspend the tournament due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. [9] [10]

The team's main supporter group is the Sawbones Army. [12] [13] The group's main purpose is "to create a rooting section for the club, complete with drumming, flags, scarves, and constant chanting and cheering." The group has been officially recognized by the team as of the 2018 season. [14]

Detroit City FC Professional American soccer club

Detroit City Football Club (DCFC) is an American professional soccer club based in Detroit, Michigan that competes in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). Prior to joining the NISA in 2019, the club played in the Midwest Region of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league in the unofficial fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The club played its home matches at Cass Technical High School in downtown Detroit until 2015, before moving to Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck, an enclave of Detroit. The club is managed by Trevor James, a former Ipswich Town F.C. player who later was an assistant coach and scout under Bobby Robson.

FC Morristown, commonly known as FC Motown, is an American soccer club based in Morristown, New Jersey. Founded in 2012, the team currently plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), a national amateur league and commonly accepted but unofficial fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.
