Madras Bashai was the variety of the Tamil language spoken by native people in the city of Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Karimanal Venkatesan Anand was an Indian cinematographer, film director and photojournalist, worked mainly in the Tamil film industry. After a short period as a journalist, he became a cinematographer in the early 1990s, working on about fifteen films in the Southern and Hindi cinema industries. Anand won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his debut film as a cinematographer, Thenmavin Kombath. In 2005, Anand turned film director with the critically acclaimed Kana Kandaen. Vijay Yesudas is an Indian playback singer and actor. He has sung over 1000 film songs. Vijay works predominantly in the South Indian film industry, mostly in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. He is the son of acclaimed singer K. J. Yesudas.

Krishna Kulasekaran credited as Krishna is an Indian actor who mainly appears in Tamil cinema. He is the younger brother of Tamil film director Vishnuvardhan.
Pasamalar is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. Bhimsingh. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan and Savitri Ganesan, with K. A. Thangavelu M. N. Nambiar and M. N. Set in four different time periods, the film is based on theme of reincarnation, which revolves around Ashwin (Dhanush) and Madhu who were lovers in their past lives, have been brought together in the present.

The film received positive reviews from critics and audience and became a commercial success.

Anegan is the soundtrack album for the 2015 film of the same name, starring Dhanush and directed by K. V. Anand. For the film's soundtrack and score, Anand, roped in his regular collaborator Harris Jayaraj, to compose the music, thus marking Harris' first and only collaboration with Dhanush. The soundtrack album features six tracks, written by Vairamuthu, Kabilan Vairamuthu, Rokesh and C. S. Amudhan. The album was released by Sony Music on 2 November 2014.
