Sadaf Siddiqui (born August 27, 1985) is a Pakistani track and field sprint athlete from Lahore who has competed in international sprint races for Pakistan. [1] Siddiqui represented Pakistan at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing where she competed in 100 meter, placing seventh in her heat without advancing to the second round. [1]
Siddiqui participated in the sprint events: 100 meters and 200 meters.
In 2006,at the South Asian Games held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Sadaf won a bronze medal in the women's 200m race at 12:07. [2] Siddiqui was part of the women's relay team participating in the Colombo South Asian Games along with Saira Fazal, Naseem Hameed and Nadia Nazir. [3]
In 2008, she represented Pakistan at the Summer Olympics in Beijing. Siddiqui was one of the two female competitors in Pakistan's 37-member contingent for the Olympic games held in Beijing, the other being Kiran Khan in swimming category. Siddiqui competed in the 100 meter sprint and placed seventh [4] in her heat without advancing to the second round. She ran the distance in a time of 12.41 seconds at the Bird's Nest national stadium. [1] [5]
In the Dhaka South Asian Games 2010, Sadaf along with athletes Nadia Nazir, Naseem Hameed and Javeria Hassan [6] [7] was part of the women relay team that won bronze medal.

In 2010, Sadaf Siddiqui, along with many other top athletes failed the doping tests [9] conducted during national trials, prior to the Commonwealth Games conducted in New Delhi. Siddiqui was banned by the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) for 2 years for the use of steroids. [10] [11]
Siddiqui claimed that the doping test came positive due to a medicine she had taken to combat her fever. She said if she had known earlier about it, she would not have taken the medicine. Siddiqui said that players are not aware of the kind of medicines to not be taken prior to doping test and there should be an awareness campaign to educate players competing at international level. Siddiqui took up to the government and the media to help her in her case to lift the ban. She appealed to the Minister Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Syed Aqil Shah at Olympic Secretariat to remove her ban. According to Siddiqui, she had appealed before the appellate tribunal within the next 14 days of the ban but it was rejected. The athlete said that after two years, her career would finish [12]

Salwa Eid Naser is a Nigerian-born Bahraini sprinter who specialises in the 400 metres. She was the 2019 World champion with the third fastest time in history of 48.14 seconds, becoming the youngest-ever champion in the event and also the first woman representing an Asian nation to win that event at a World Championships. The mark places her only behind contested results of Marita Koch and Jarmila Kratochvílová. Over the distance, at only 19, Naser was the 2017 World silver medallist. She has also won, as a member of Bahraini mixed-gender 4x400 m relay team, the 2019 World Championships bronze medal.
The 2019 South Asian Games, officially the XIII South Asian Games, was a major multi-sport event which was originally slated to be held from 9 to 18 March 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. However, the dates were postponed and the event was held from 1–10 December 2019, coincidentally at the same time as the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines. The new dates were confirmed at the South Asian Olympic Council Executive Board meeting in Bangkok on 1 March 2019. The Dasarath Stadium hosted the opening ceremony along with the men's football tournament, with the stadium's renovation after the 2015 earthquake completed in under 10 months with an increased capacity of 20,000, along with the closing ceremony on 10 December.

Richardson rose to fame in 2019 as a freshman at Louisiana State University, running 10.75 seconds to break the 100 m collegiate record at the NCAA Division I Championships.
